We have travelled extensively, but found Seden to be exceptional as a guide. She was knowledgeable, gave us glimpses of Tokyo life off the beaten path , flexible, fluent in Japanese, helpful in making further plans, kept in touch afterwards to make sure our other arrangements were going to work. She has a delightful sense of humour, was personable and kind. Can’t say enough good about her.

It was a rainy evening in Ebisu but we still enjoyed a great food your with our guide Kazumi. She took us to some old traditional restaurants as well as tiny street food places. All of the food she ordered for us was delicious. Down tiny alleys and through mysterious doors finding olaces we would never have known about. Kazumi was a a lovely guide and we really enjoyed the evening. Jane and David.

We had a wonderful time walking around Shibuya with Carlos. It was a great introduction to a neighborhood we went back to on our own maybe times. Would have been tough to get the full understanding of it all on our own, at least in only 90 minutes. He was great to chat with. The time flew by. Highly recommend.

This was my first time in Tokyo with my kids. Carlos gave me a very good introduction to the area, some local traditions and some good tips and tricks! I was very intimidated with the train/ subway system so Carlos really helped me understand- also came on a short train ride with us to get me comfortable. I really got lucky that i found Carlos.

Sheilina was kind and informative. She was a great guide and understood that we love the not-so-touristy kinds of experiences. She also recommended a great place for lunch after the tour. We loved chatting with her and spending the morning together.

Gulay was awesome. She truly did give us a kick start for enjoying our time in Tokyo. She quickly and easily taught us how to navigate public transportation. The places she took us to were fantastic. Gulay was very pleasant and she shared much local history that truly made us feel we welcome and immersed in Japanese culture. Gully went beyond our expectations. She came to our holes to start the day. It was our first day in Tokyo.

Gulay provides information about the best of Tokyo in such a lovely way. She knows all the best spots so please do ask her. Would recommend… I write this review the day after and we’ve spent it using ALL the recommendations she made.

We loved our tour with Gulay soo much! We wanted to shop in the vintage section of Japan and had so much fun. She also helped us navigate the trains and helped us find a wonderful ramen place.

Gulay was fantastic! She provided us many recommendations on things to do all over Japan, took us to at least one sight that our friends didn’t know about, and gave us the perfect cultural introduction to Buddhism and Shintoism and shopping in Asaksusa. Highly recommend!

Sena, our guide, was amazing!  She showed us the scramble, a few other highlights, and at our request, tailored the tour to take us on a very efficient shopping expedition to get exactly what we were looking for. She showed us a new restaurant, KURA, with sushi on a conveyer belt, which I have always wanted to do. She recommended other activities for us, such as a boat tour, and let us know exactly where to get some other specific souvenir items after our tour. She followed up with us several times to answer further questions. We loved our time in Shibuya and Harajiku with Sena!

My teenage son and I spent our first afternoon in Tokyo with Gulay and we couldn't have been happier. She was lovely and personable and within minutes of being with her, she gave us a tip that made our whole trip so much easier. She answered our questions, shared interesting information and showed us newbie tricks to help navigate the city. Ramky, is hands down, the best tour guide we had in Tokyo and I truly can't say enough good things about him. We went on 3 semi-private tours while we were there and no one even came close to comparing. His intimate knowledge of the city, its history and stories, and off the beaten path locations is unmatched. If he had been available during the rest of our stay we would have booked him 3 days in a row. So next time we head that way he will absolutely be my first phone call.
