Nice restaurants, nice to walk, beaches are spectacular. Food and drink are reasonably affordable. Enjoy the seafood it’s fantastic

This was a half day tour. We booked with Secret Madeira where one option is a bundle of 3 tours (with East and West) at a very good price. The only pricing issue is the sled ride in Monte has to be paid separately - having said which it meant we went first as there was no queue and the rest of the group were awaiting their tickets from the driver The owner of Secret Madeira picked up or dropped off a few people from the bus to avoid this taking too long to do all the pickups, which was a very smart and in our experience unusual move The sled ride is an absolute must do. The drive to Nuns Valley is really interesting, includes stops at several viewpoints on the way there and back. At Nuns Valley there was a tasting of local liqueurs, very good and very interesting.

Excellent value and amazing sights, so much crammed into a whole day tour and Flavio was an excellent host and driver. We had a great time, the only way to see the island with limited time and on a budget.

Tony was a first class tour guide in smoothly explaining everything fluently in both English and German, We both really enjoyed the half day tour doing the Sleigh ride and Nun's Valley. Highly recommend. A1

We saw basically everything we wanted to see during the day. The guide was informative and told us a lot of interesting information on Madeira. We didn't get the Mercedes on the photo but a minibus. The car was not in a very good shape. The restaurant the guide took us in Santana was a tourist trap and not very good. I found the communication with the tour operator a bit frustrating prior to the tour. They didn't answer quickly and I had to ask same things many times. But all in all, it was a good value day.

Such good value for money! Was an amazing day out and our guide was lovely. Wish we could have spent longer at the forest as that was spectacular but other than that a great day. Saves you from bus hopping/ expensive taxis and hits all the important places in the west and the north. Would recommend :)

Fantastic day doing the West of the Island Tour. Our guide Tony was very professional with a great sense of humour. Very enjoyable day with plenty of stop off's. Knowledgeable about the Island and its history. Well recommened

Our driver Reineth is awesome, so helpful and full of jokes. He give us advice on how to better our trip and where’s a good place to eat in each place we visit in case we come by ourselves next time.

Couldn’t have been better. Our guide and driver were amazing, funny and had so much knowledge. Got to the sled ride early so no wait. Plenty of time given at viewpoints to enjoy the views. Dropped us back in town if that’s what we wanted or back to hotels. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lucy was amazing! If you can ask for her to be your guide! She is funny, very informative, she will tell you lots of stories about the places you’ll visit. This was our first tour in Madeira and we enjoyed it a lot! Worth a try, you’ll be amazed!

Very special and personalised tour by Lucy our guide/ owner of company - who told us a lot about growing up on the island and how people live. Took us to a few different places on route, and I really loved that she bought some special local bread from the bakery for us all to try. Best but was swimming in the natural rock pools at Porto Moniz ( bring beach shoes if you can as very slippy steps!). A great day out - amazing value too.
