We did the two full day tours with Hahave, and in terms of quality of the tour, we had two different experiences. The Moai Henua tour included some spectacular sites, such as Rano Rakaru and Abu Tongariki, which are so impressive they can stand on their own. Unfortunately, our guide for this tour didn’t add much to the experience for us. She relayed the usual pieces of information at each site but without much enthusiasm and seemed put out that there were a lot of questions. Also, she gave the information first in Spanish, not a problem, but then would rush through the English explanation and oftentimes forgot to translate until the Spanish speaking guests reminded her. Our conversational Spanish is decent and we understood a lot of what was being said but we knew for something with more difficult vocabulary like a historical/cultural tour we didn’t want to miss the detail being given, hence why we made sure it was a bilingual tour beforehand. If it had been advertised as a Spanish tour that would have been totally different. She also kept referring to the three of us who asked for the English translation as “the gringos” which I assume was meant in an endearing way rather than disparaging but it was unprofessional regardless. We just felt like she didn’t care about getting the information across to us, and also made us feel like we were causing hassle by her having to translate each time before we could move on. Having said that, the places we visited were magnificent. The Hopi Manu tour with Simón was worlds apart! Objectively, the sites you get to see aren’t maybe as visually impressive on their own, but with his explanations and passion it was completely brought to life. He took so much time in answering questions and gave loads of extra context. I think this tour was a perfect example of what a bilingual tour should be, in that he switched between giving Spanish and English explanations first at each stop. It felt much more inclusive of everyone in the group, and he was just a phenomenal guide, we would give him 10 stars if we could!

An excellent series of tours with Hahave while on Rapa Nui! Easy to find office near waterfront in Hanga Roa. Carla in the office owns the business. She is always friendly and very helpful. I think I did almost every tour they have on offer! Most of these were with Winnie who is a fantastic guide. Highly recommended!

Hahave Rapanui was amazing. Carla, who helped me with all 4 of my tours was always looking out for me to make sure everything was perfect. The other young lady who works with her is fantastic too. All the guides are wonderful, prompt and dependable. I felt like I was with family the whole time. The tours were incredible, and I learned so much about the island. Toto gets a special shout out as he was my guide on 2 tours and was knowledgeable and super friendly. I felt special on every single tour with Hahave. Everyone always had a great big smile and you can clearly see they love what they do and showcasing their beautiful island. I will be back because of this wonderful group of people I met at Hahave. Iaorana! My accommodation suggested a different Tour Company but Im glad I found Hahave. They were professional, communication was good (my Spanish is bad), and just plain very friendly. I used them for a snorkeling tour to the motus on the south side of Rapa Nui. The ocean is cold, others used the wetsuits offered, but I chose not to. We did not land on the motus but did snorkel next to them. They do take photos and videos and offer copies. I did use Hahave for sunrise at Ahu Tongariki (Its worth it) , Ovahe Beach and Anakena Beach. Also a day tour of Rano Raraku (Moai Quarry) and other sites. I booked private tours which, compared to other areas of the Pacific, are very reasonable. I was there for Tapati Festival, they gave me lots of useful information, and I will definitely use them again. Just be sure to buy a National Park Pass before doing any tour with any company.

We took a sknorkeling tour and it was just amazing. Carla was there for us the whole time, and made our experience all the more mesmerizing. She also recommended us places and things to do, even if it was not a tour she was giving us. We will definitely come back to her next time we are in the Island. Call her!! You´ll have the best time ever!

We were 4 and wanted to do a snorkeling tour. So we did it with them cuz they seemed really cool and nice. We didnt regret, the tour and the views at Ovahe beach was just amazing !! And the team is really awesome and nice. I recommand Hahave at 100% !! Go there and just enjoy...

We stopped in to hahave while looking to do some snorkeling on easter island. We met Debbie who was able to speak English with us. Debbie and Carla took us to playa Ovahe where we did some great snorkeling while learning and seeing the environmental impacts of our routine choices. They were super patient with us as one of our group struggled with learning to snorkle. We enjoyed it so much we booked another snorkeling trip and some scuba, which were also great fun. Definitely suggest this great shop!

my boyfriend and I wanted to go snorkling while we are in rapa nui so in the afternoon we steped in the little shop to ask for a tour. devin explained everything in english and we could feel her passion for the sea and the wildlife. so we booked a snorkling tour for the next day. the two girls made us feel like friends 😃 there have been just the four of us. during the car ride they explained us about the vulcanos etc. the snorkling tour was unbelievable 🤩 devin knows where the fishes group, explained and showed us as much as she could. she also showed us the sad problem about all the plastic in the sea. We really loved our little and individual tour. definitly recomend it! Thanks girls😘

There are lots of places on Hanga Roa that offer snorkeling but this is really for you who want a very personal service. We asked if they could help us with a boat trip late in the afternoon. Got the impression that nothing is a problem as long as it is safe for all participants. We took a boat trip and snorkeling with our two girls (7 and 8 years). With us on the trip there was also another couple. They took care of everyone and there were more guides with us on the trip so everyone felt they were personally taken care of. My daughter was terrified, but they made her relax even in another language :) They made sure we saw everything that was too see and that we felt safe. Even in the sea with waves and two young children we felt completely safe. They took care of us both before, during and after the trip. Incredibly service-minded staff and good with both kids and adults. The pictures are included in the price and when we had some difficulties with time to get the pictures they delivered them to the hotel the next day. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

Speaks English and Spanish. The shop looks tiny, but the person is very helpful and honest. Our first wish was to have a full day tour for our group of 3. The price was about 1/3 the cost of the hotel's. It took some time as the day we wanted to go was a national election day. But she found someone who would take us. She took our hotel and room number as we did not have a local phone number. Also she suggested that we pay the person giving us the tour. By the time we walked back to our hotel we had a message that the guy was canceling. This allowed us to rent a car for 9am. At breakfast the hotel let another guest know that their tour had been canceled because of the election and they were having trouble getting a rental car. Because of our first transaction with Hahave we decided to get a horseback tour with her. It was very quick. We got a young man named Guillermo who just started his business. He came early. Took us to his place, rounded up the horses, put the saddles on them which was very entertaining and took about 10 min. Then helped us up onto the horses. We were allowed to ride the horses vs 'follow the leader'. We had a great time. When we got back, Guillermo, took the saddles off and checked the horses. I could tell that he really cared for his horses.
