- neilrH5882ID00The best way to see the Burren!A fantastic day cycling around the Burren. Janet convinced us not to take our originally planned route and offered one more off the beaten track where we got to see a lot more of the Burren itself. Thank you Janet!
- macmama2300Fantastic way to see The Burren! This was amazing! My husband and I had such a great time - we booked a trip on a week when our 3 tween-agers were at camp but they easily could have done this trip (and we actually ended up finding a different ebike tour to take them on in a different part of Ireland closer to our home base and they LOVED it). We opted for the self-guided trip just because of scheduling but would have loved to have taken one of Janet's guided tours. As it was, she gave us great suggestions of where to go - definitely go to Caherconnell! The equipment was awesome - I usually hate biking in the rain back home but with the ebikes I just had a permanent grin the whole time!
- Karen M00A favorite activity in our tripThis was an uncomparable opportunity to get into the Burren, so much better than any bus tour or drive-by. The equipment was top notch so the hills were no problem for us even tho we are "old." The support from the vendor was great; they even including a first aid kit in the saddlebag.
- TVOWexford00Highly Recommend!!!!The self guided tour on the electric bike was fantastic. The bikes are so easy to cycle they simply glide alone with very little effort. It's a great way to get the full Burren experience ie, the smells and sounds of this beautiful unique part of Clare. Janet gave us very detailed easy to follow maps and recommend what to see and where to stop for lunch. Next time we're definitely taking the bikes out for the whole day!!!
- Explorer23221000Burren Ewhizz tourA thoroughly enjoyable tour taking in The Burren. Bikes were easy to use. We did 34 kilometers in about 3 hours.
- jennypS6013ZD00Fabulous 4 hours on electric bikes . Time well spentFabulous guided tour , Janet is very good guide, excellent local knowledge. Stopped to give us information on the history and ecology of the burren
- johnkQ9999CS00Stunning views, easy ridingThe roads suggested by Janet were lightly traveled, so one could enjoy the scenery. The hills were easily handled with the help of the electric motor. The bike was well maintained, and a higher level than expected. 8 speed internal gear hub, motor mounted near the bottom bracket, hydraulic brakes, torque sensor to control assistance. Battery capacity was adequate for a day's ride. Map was provided with clear directions, and attractions were highlighted.
- 281seamusm00Great fun and great bikesGreat service and great bikes. Janet was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on where we should visit and the routes we should take. A brilliant day on the electric bikes
- keosar00If you want to cycle the Burren you need to go hereBrilliant Tour, Janet set up the bikes for us and plotted a route on quiet country lanes so that we could safely get to the main attractions of the Burren. She even gave advice on where we could stop along the way, cafés, etc. Overall we had a great day out and would recommend kilfenora as the ideal spot to begin your cycling tour of the Burren. The G Whizz shop is nicely stocked with books and postcards of the area, Janet even had stamps. Very impressed.
- 455mariaf00Great experienceFantastic service. Janet was very helpful. Definitely a thing to do if you're in the area. Lots of useful advice A1
- Justusoutnabout00Fabulous fun and great experienceWe had a great time... couldn't see much of the scenery( the reason I booked)due to mist but we had great fun... I had my 15yr old daughter and 14yr old son with me and the really enjoyed using the bikes .. I would advise if doing the full loop (33km)to wear super comfy possibly padded cycling shorts as the roads will show great views( weather permitting) but were not the smoothest..( bone rattling to be mild) All in all a great experience and would highly recommend even for a novice like me. Also we were provided with step by step directions that anybody could easily follow...
- 636conord00The Burren and Fanore beach.Loved the electric bikes. Jannet was great and helped us navigate 9ff main roads from Kilfenore to Fanore beach. A swim and then a beautiful ride thru the Burren and out towards the perfumary. Spectacular, highly recommended.
- MarMar4500We whizzed along!I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Mary and Janet are warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable hosts and tour guides. Check-in process is hassle-free and reassuring. The bikes (we took the e-bike option) are wonderful, the scenery stunning. We did a guided tour (about 25k easy cycling) with Mary, stopping at Caherconnell in time for the sheep dog demonstration which was a lovely bonus alongside the visit to the ring fort and the welcome coffee break. We also visited Poulnabrone dolmen. If you are interested in botany/archaeology/social history/geography there’s something in this tour for you, and it’s also a lovely way to get a taste of the stunning Burren landscape. Don’t miss it!
- Famoffour201200Grand Day Out with JanetOur family did the half-day private tour of the Burren with Janet. Top to bottom, it was a great experience. Janet was a wonderful tour guide with a wicked sense of humor and the electric bikes made the entire trip hugely enjoyable for all. We'd never used e-bikes before, but they were easy to learn and made us all feel super fast and athletic. Best tour of our weeklong vacation!
- HoneybeeGirl00Perfect way to see The BurrenIf you are headed to this area of Ireland, don't miss this tour!!! We did the self tour and it was very doable. The electric bike made the trip easy and we covered quite a bit of distance to see all sorts of amazing sites. Wonderful time!!!!

Janet gave us an excellent introduction to the ebike experience and adjusted the bikes to fit us before riding off into the countryside. As a novice, I had a mini review from Janet to make my ride easier midway through the ride. Perfect. We stopped for photos and historical background to what we were seeing in the way of ancient structures and geological explanations for the unusual landscape. All in all, a pleasant afternoon in an interesting corner of the world with an enjoyable guide

I was part of a group of friends who meet for outdoor activities and we booked an afternoon's cycle tour with Janet in early Spring. Advance communication was excellent with Janet ensuring everyone had a bike that was up to the task-either their own or her rental push bikes or electric bikes. No sales pressure, just lots of helpful advice.
Janet's pacing on the day, dealing with the weather and with the consequences of a lazy group who wanted a coffee stop in the back of beyond were superb. She was also a very informative guide,as I am already quite familiar with the Burren but still saw and heard about new spots from Janet.Highly recommend the trip to anyone. The choice of bikes make it a good option for groups where there are varying degrees of fitness as all can go out together. Enjoy the ride!

A group of five of us did this tour. The bikes were excellent and very comfortable. The itinerary was a perfect length. Janet our guide was phenomenal. She was so knowledgable and had such expertise on the historical and geographical aspects of the area. We saw so much that we would have otherwise missed had Janet not pointed it out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it!

If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. (If you can't ride a bike, don't pretend that you can because we had 2 people in another group who needed to ride in the van because they didn't do bike riding.)
A very nice time outdoors, spent biking through the Irish countryside. A nice lunch at a local cafe (self-pay) in the middle of the tour. Not enough time to see the attached ruins and archeological dig, but you can always come back to see it (as we did after the tour was done).
Beware the Irish weather however. It was cloudy and overcast the entire time we rode, but luckily no rain. We ended up having a great time and would highly recommend this tour if you're in the area.
