About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Paradise397444332270 contributionsHighly recommended tour. Our guide who speaks fluent English is so friendly, and professional. We learned a lot about the culture and the Rarámuri indigenous people. Nowadays we can all get info from the internet, but gaining knowledge from our guide whose grandmother is a 100% Rarámuri is priceless. For us, it was a perfect day to tour around all the attraction points. Beautiful scenery and mild hiking, it was an excellent experience! Highly recommended. Yvette M.Written October 9, 2024
- thomastK8649PM0 contributionsTry agineIf you go here make sure you state you exactly what you want, I wanted to see copper canyon from the train, what I got was a person driving me around the edge of the canyon for 4 hours, bumbed.Written May 18, 2024
- 614stanislavk0 contributionsGreat experience discovering the surroundings of CreelWe spent a very nice day with Martin and Karen. They were both very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I can only recommend this tour when you’re in Creel! :)Written April 15, 2024
- Cowboyfanforever0 contributionsWorth the trip but suggest you Try to go one way not returnI found this trip too much travelling. I loved the views and the canyon area in Diversado. We drove from Mazatlan 5 hours to El Fuerte, one nigh in El Fuerte and then train to Creel for 3 nights. We took a tour back to Diversado to see the canyon. then back on the train to El Fuerte and another 5 hours back to Mazatlan. If I were to do this again I would fly to Chihuahua, take a bus/tour 3 hours to Creel, stay 1 or 2 nights in Creel, train to Diversado and spend 1 or 2 nights and then to El Fuerte. The train is great in 1st/Premier class. Not a lot of English speaking people so make sure you have a translation app on your phone.Written March 23, 2024
- Wendy M0 contributionsWorth Taking the Combined TourOur tour guide Martin was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and from Creel. The only downside was that due to lack of rain the waterfall was a trickle!Written February 24, 2024
- JosephL15890 contributionsReview of Canyons Adventures tour company in Copper Canyon, Barrancas del cobreCanyons Adventure took great care of us throughout our tours in Divisadero, Barrancas de Cobre, Creel, and even to the airport in Chihuahua. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. A bit of Spanish will help, but going with a tour group is a great way to improve your fluency. They also have ATVs in Creel. Here’s a picture from the balcony in Divisadero of the hotel Canyons Adventure obtained for us.Written January 9, 2022

- marcain0 contributionsA project in development, still wonderfulThere are zip lines, cable cars, rapelling, and scary ped bridges across scary heights. Spend more than a full day here if you can. We spent only a few hours, the cable car ride is amazing. For those from the US, this is an entirely safe adventure with regard to the nonsense that you'll hear and read. Come here, visit the area, and enjoy it. It is utterly safe. Even the adventures are safe - there is lots of gear and the facilities are designed for everyone. I'm 64, so declined the more adventurous exercises.Written March 3, 2020
- theclaudial0 contributionsGreat service!Really easy to work with, very nice ppl, Jorge was a knowledgeable guide. Super recommend. Did a private tour to Cusarare and was able to skip the stuff I had already seen, and spend more time at the falls.Written November 1, 2019
- donamagdalena0 contributionsAmazingGreat service, safe, anything you ask, they will deliver, so helpful... if you need a specific tour they can provide it. Emmanuel was greatWritten August 26, 2019
- TLL19790 contributionsGreat tour, wonderful guideWe had a great day on this tour. Gilbert was wonderful, answering all our questions - he was very knowledgable of the local area. Neither my husband or I speak Spanish so having a guide who can speak English, Spanish and the local Indigenous language was a real plus.Written May 9, 2019
- Shaun A0 contributionsGuided tourWe done a tour with canyon adventure tours and were lucky to have Gilbert as our guide. He speaks great english, as well as tarahumara. He has a great rapport with the local Tarahumura, and we felt lucky to have been able to of been invited in to see the Tarahumuras way of living. The countryside is amazing and it is an experience that should be top of your list whilst in Creel.Written May 9, 2019
- Ewaizel0 contributionsEnoel was the bestEnoel was the best !!! He was our driver for 4 days. Always keeping us safe and entertained. Even if this represented a long journey crossing at night icy snowy roads. He really knows all places and is friend of all Tarahumaras we met and visited. We did most of the tours they offer. Pedro the owner was always behind making sure the vehicle and general al service was good. My only area of improvement for them is communication and the reservation process. To reserve they asked for a deposit. Still, there was no way to pay by credit card or PayPal. They asked for a wire transfer to their bank in Mexico. I tried sensing money via Western Union. There was no place to receive the money in town. I also had to constantly email and call them to make sure all was good.Written December 31, 2018
- carlosfbarrios0 contributionsGreat tour at Cooper CanyonWe just finished last week a nice tour from Chihuahua to Los Mochis. Canyons Adventure was great for the organization as we received from Marcos excellent support for transport and railroad tickets. Our guide was Enoel, he knows very well the region and is an excellent photographer, he did very nice shots of all the group. I highly recommend contacting Canyons Adventure for visiting the region.Written November 14, 2018
- victorruelasr0 contributionsImpresionante...Thousand times more impressive than Grand Canyon, I missed the zip line, (After struggle with my fears) closed because of weather conditions. Highly recommended. You must eat in the food stands located in the main area.Written September 5, 2018
