    Great experience with delicious food
I gave my mother this experience as a present for our holiday and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, easy to follow along and the staff were the sweetest. The atmosphere is very cozy and you feel welcome from the second you get picked up. The recipe book you revive afterwards is also easy to follow and the ingredients are listed precisely. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has some spare time in Ao Nang.

Efficient and cost friendly way to travel
Very convenient and efficient way to travel. Would definitely do it again. Boat was at maximum capacity, so felt a bit squashed. We had arranged for hotel pick up and drop off. Driver was on time for pick up, however taxi service for hotel drop off was very confusing. No one knew where to go and drivers were not working off a list. We were waiting for our suitcases and were almost left behind

Average, at best, for a lower cost ferry.
The Princess Ferry - Koh Phi Phi Don to Ao Nang: Not all of the information I would usually consider was offered in the description of this trip when I booked it. The ticket is only good for entry into the main and below deck passenger areas. You can smoke by the restrooms on the back of the main deck but all outdoor walkways and open air spaces above the entry deck are off limits with the ticket purchased through TripAdvisor/Viator. If you want access to any outside areas above the entry deck you must pay an additional 200 baht in cash directly to the boat operators for “VIP Access”. I would have preferred to know about this restriction of outdoor areas before I chose this carrier. I don’t smoke but always choose to be outside where possible (and weather permitting) when I’m on a ferry transport so this was a bit of a let-down for me.

A very nice day with professional staff
Wow Andaman was managing the whole package extremely well. Mr. Chang was our guide and I want to send my warmest thanks to him. Similan is unbelievably beautiful and we even saw a sea turtle while snorkeling. Food offering was good and for sure enough (2 lunch boxes per person, breakfast and even a dinner). Highly recommended.

    Amazing, magical, unforgettable!
This tour was a highlight of our holiday. The excursion was perfectly and professionally executed, the pick up at the hotel was on time and comfortable. The boat was large and clean, and there were only maximum 20 participants, which the company books on purpose to ensure a relaxed, enjoyable experience. The food was excellent and some of the best we have had in Thailand. Lots of options and they accommodated vegans and vegetarians as well as allergies (we did not have these restrictions). The crew were professional, friendly, and fun. The cave kayaking was amazing, serene, incredible and breathtaking. Highly, highly recommended! The kayaks were easy to get in and out of and would not be a problem if you had hip or knee issues. Sitting in them might be aggravating if you have lower back problems or extreme lack of flexibility in your lower back or hamstrings. Our guide did all the work and we only had to sit or lay back, take in the scenery and observe the features that our amazing guide (Louis) pointed out. The Hongs were magnificent, really a wonderful sight. After one of the kayak trips, we were given free time to take the kayaks ourselves if we wanted, or swim in the emerald green water (we went to an area where there were few or no jellyfish), we did both, leisurely. The scenery of the islands was breathtaking and we couldn't get enough photos of every vista, which we wouldn't have seen had we not taken this tour. The creation of our Krathongs was a delight - we appreciated the history and context information about Krathongs and we helped to make ours, along with our kayak guide (He did most of it). Each group's guide (in our case they were all gentlemen) took the lead in making the Krathong, and each guide crafted a different design for their couple. This made each one unique, and it was plain to see that our guides paid attention to the details, it was so impressive and heartwarming to watch these men guides carefully, lovingly (it seemed) and paintstakingly making beautiful creations of the flower offerings. We went through a pitch black passage and into a hong that was almost dark except for a tiny glow at the roof of the sky above. We put our Krathongs into the water and made wishes, it was beautiful, meaningful, magical. We wouldn't have missed it for the world. The tour was expertly executed, we never felt rushed or pushed, even up to and including the disembarkment at the end We would HIGHLY recommend this tour! It was worth every penny and will be a lifelong special memory for us.

Great way to spend an evening!
Wonderful rustic, rural location. Great hostesses. Delicious food, with several options. We were fortunate to be part of a small class of 4, so we got a lot of attention, although at times it felt like we were being rushed through (as others have commented). Useful to have the pamphlet with recipes so that I can try recreating some of the dishes at home. We took our leftovers as a takeaway, and decided to donate them to a beggar we passed on the way back to our hotel. He seemed genuinely delighted.

    Worth the time
The view is definitely worth the effort. You can find less expensive trips than on trip advisor. A difference of more than $20.00 per person. Plenty of boats. No need to worry. They try to pack too much in. No need for the snorkeling. Hardly saw any fish.

    A day to remember
A fully packed day visiting different islands in the marine park , each with its own characteristics. The snorkelling was fun as the water was clear and there were plenty of fish. My favourite was the blue crater lagoon. The staff were very helpful in taking photos for us and ensuring our safety and comfort.

Good trip but a long way
We’ve been on many snorkelling trips and this one is in the best for seeing many different types of fish, there are 3 snorkelling stops, but they are very busy as there are 4/5 boats stopped at each place at the same time, so you did have to very careful not to bump into people, the sea was also choppy and tidel in parts so the boats put a rope out to keep you within the safe area. Lunch was disappointing, a bit like a sloppy canteen affair, with fruit afterwards and you had to put your dirty plates and leftovers into a really not very pleasant slops bin 😬 however the beach area was very nice and pleasant to swim in for an hour. Be aware that it is a 2 hour speed boat ride each way to the surin islands from Khao Lak, the boat travels quickly and anyone with back problems may have issues, and the sea is choppy, sea sickness bags are handed out at the beginning but fortunately we did not need them.

    Best cooking class!!
We had the best time cooking with Ying. There were about 15 people in total and we were then devided into two groups of 7/8. We got to make 3 different dishes!! For each of them, we had multiple options to choose from. We made Tom Yum soup, green, red or Panang curry and then a stirfry or pad thai. In the end we got a little booklet with all the recipes. As all of us are vegetarian, we told them beforehand and it wasn’t a problem at all!! Even vegan isn’t a problem I think, there are alternatives for all animal products. Definitely go do this course, it was so much fun and we learned a lot! :)

Full day in and on the water
Great day, excellent value including food and water tea/coffee First stop was a little lack lustre and we would have preferred to have gone straight to the island as by the time we arrived there it was getting busy and by the time we left it was chokka block full. The guide was great super friendly and we felt safe Saw three sea turtles which was a highlight Be aware that the price you pay does not include fins, if you want to snorkel with fins it’s extra and you pay when you’re checking in. Regardless if this we enjoyed our day and thought it was good value

    Memorable experience
Highly recommend this experience for those who enjoy scenic beauty and adventure. The guide was efficient and each activity was enjoyable. The food at the jungle retreat was delicious. Accommodation at the floating bungalows is very basic and the washroom situation could be improved. A little minor discomfort was worth it however, as the scenery is truly spectacular.

An interesting and fun day and a long one!
We went on the John Gray’s Hong by Starlight Sea Cave Kayaking trip as a couple. Pick up was perfectly timed and we had a large air-conditioned van. The driver went to a few nearby hotels to pick up other customers. Once at Ao Por Pier in the south of the island we were given instructions where to board and then went onboard. The boat was large and had ample seating and a central area where we later had lunch and dinner served. The food was freshly cooked onboard in the kitchen and we were also given unlimited cool drinks. Once we arrived at Hong island we got on kayaks as a couple and someone paddled for us into the caves, some of which we had to lie flat backwards so as to avoid hitting the top of rocks at the cave entrance. Once we were through it was great to see the rock formations. Later on we made a Thai floating banana leaf lantern that we floated on the water with lit candles. We saw the bioluminescent plankton a bit but it really needed to be much darker. The big boat ride back meant a long journey and many people had their eyes shut going back as they felt tired like we were after this 10 hour trip. It was an enjoyable trip seeing interesting scenery and rock formations but a bit too long, but we understand that our hotel was in the north part of Phuket so quite a way from the pier. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable day.

Worst speed boat ride I ever had in my life! It was such a horrifying experience for 1.5 hours, holding on to my life on the boat and not enjoying any moment of the ride at all! The ride was bumpy, you literally "fly up" at certain points and all you have is a life jacket to rely on
