    Ananas Kitchen Rude Staff Member
The male staff at the Ananas kitchen inside Nago Pineapple Park have serious problems with their social skills being very crusty and having a really bad attitude towards customers. He is a disgrace to Nago Pineapple Park and has tarnished the reputation of Pineapple Park, as we have seen other negative reviews about this staff. The owner of the park also acknowledged that they are aware of the problem with this staff member and how they are damaging the entire Nago Pineapple Park.

Kids would love “driving” the pineapple car
This place exceeded my expectations. Upon reaching the parking lot, there’s a tram to take you to the entrance. After that, you got to sit in a driverless car (the kid can sit at the steering wheel) and it will take you on a tour through the park. After that it’s free and easy and there’s even a Dino adventure area. The “driving” experience was really good and kids would love it.

Nice way to spend 1-2 hours learning about pineapples
The park although small, was pretty well organised for a 1-2 hour visit. From the parking lot, there will be a bus pickup through the pineapple fields with useful information on growing pineapples. It was then followed by taking an automated cart through some pineapple field and where they provided more information on growing pineapples. After which, there was a walking path where you can take some photos and a mini dinosaur park. The largest area was the pineapple gift shop that sells and also provides sample of pineapple wine and juice, and other various snacks. You can enjoy tax free with minimum spending of around 4k yen. I particularly liked the wasabi hotate that was sold here. Sliced pineapple sold here was pretty sweet too!

    Pretty great products they have
My daughter has been studying with correspondence course in Okinawa and she went to Pinapple park before and she brought pretty nice things from there I went there and bought them. Face wash soap is great and some Pinapple vinegar is great also and surrounding area is very nice as well.

Great place with visit with kids
The Nago Pineapple Park is great for those with young children. My son thought he was driving the whole time on that driverless cart. The park has a lot of information about pineapple and tons of souvenir that are made out of pineapple. The surprising part is that there's a dinosaur park inside where kids would love it.

A Fun Way for Kids to Learn About Pineapples
We know going here would be full of kitsch, but that was part of the fun. The park is very well organized form the parking lot pickup on a pineapple bus through actually pineapple fields (in Japanese intro) before you are dropped off at the entrance to jump on a driverless golf cart with a giant pineapple on the roof! The cart ride itself is worth the ticket as you go through a very tropical jungle route. They even throw in a Dino Park with robotic dinosaurs to mix things up. Finally they stay true to everything Pineapple with a gift shop that has pineapple wine/juice, snack production and tasting which you can enjoy as you walk through a very impressive gift shop (which you will definitely find something). If you have kids this is a good stop to another desitanation. There is a Fruit Land next door if you want to go all out with the kids.

    Ok for a short visit
Went there for about 2 hours or so. Good for a short visit only. You start with a automatic car ride through a farm kind of enclosure. Then you get to walk around freely, not much to do. However, at the end you get to taste the wine and various pineapple products! Good to buy some to bring home for family and friends if you are into pineapple cakes, tarts etc. Had pineapple sorbet at the icecream shop!

    For Kids Ok!
I had been to a similar one in Hawaii. Nothing interesting unless you love this fruit or into agriculture. I do love my pineapple juice though. This is smaller compared to the one in Hawaii. Pros Cute decor, cute music, cute auto golf cart Kids activities Souvenir Cons Cumbersome cos u had to take an auto golf cart to entrance of park, then take another same cart to see a small pineapple plantation. They keep taking photos then u buy them. Because everyone has to stop to take, the queuing is the pain. When u had to take 2 times, worse. Then while on the cart, there is another photo shot. Total of 3 times. For adults, unless you have never seen how pineapple looks like or are grown, u can see this. For their effort, I give 3 stars cos kids may enjoy this park. I think these days kids only see cut pineapple. So good for educational purpose. We took 45 minutes. Can skip this site if no time.

    Highlight of Okinawa
I went today with my partner and it was AMAZING! Value for money was great, took a buggy around the pineapple park and saw loads of cute baby pineapples growing (not sure why people have left reviews saying they didn’t see any... you literally drive through fields of them). Beautiful plants and flowers growing indoors too. Had a really fun time - the theme song is cool too and really catchy. Once you’ve finished the tour of the park, there and lots of cute stalls where you can choose to buy gifts , or just try the free samples! Overall really enjoyed.

Not even one live growing pineapple
Really small park. Basically what happens is - pineapple bus ride from the carpark to the park entrance (maybe 100m?), take photo in front of the big pineapple at the entrance, buy tickets, get in line for the pineapple cart, cart ride through a greenhouse (no pineapples to be seen, just some exotic plants), then the magic is over - you’ll pass through a few showrooms of pineapple souvenirs then it’s the exit!

My friends and I weren’t sure what to expect when we pulled up, but we were greeted by a full-scale production. This park was family friendly and had something for everyone. We took a short bus ride from the parking lot that gave a verbal recorded tour in Japanese and English and brought us to the main park. There, you get on small self-driving cars that take you on another guided tour through multiple types of trees/plants.

After, there are a multitude of cafes, eateries, and vineyard/distilleries to purchase gifts from and buy food/drinks. My tip is to try a flight of the multiple different types of pineapple wine to find which one you’d like to take home!

This is a cute park with lots of beautiful plants and an unexpected butterfly garden and a random dinosaur area. The information given during the cart ride is actually pretty interesting. Lots of things are pineapple themed! Cute gift shop items and the food here is not the best, but it's not bad either. I would recommend getting the pineapple honey pizza and the pineapple ice cream sundae!

My kids liked the self-driven go cart so they could pretend to drive. They liked the dinosaur area. Neither were very long. The rest was, in our experience, not up to all the hype. My kids are ages 3 to 11. We probably won’t go back.

If you like pineapple, this is th eplace to learn more about the entire family From the pineapples that only flower to the different kinds of edible pineapples. This place used to can pineapples for amajor brand, then the brand went to the Phillipines, where there was more land and cheaper labor and a larger for for shipping all the different kinds of fruit they had growing there. So this place began making pineapple wine and other pineapple products to fill this facility. It may seem small from the outside but it is amazingly large. You might think you will spend an hour here, but the whole place normally takes about 2 hours or so! First you need to take the golfcart tour and learn more about pineapples around the world. They have a great collection of these plants in the facility and your golf cart will tell you all about the pineapples. Take your time with the ride. Then when you get off the golf cart go straight ahead inside and you will be greeted with several huge piles of chopped pineapple to sample as much as you want. Then you can begin to stroll and maybe sample the fantastic pineapple cream puff, which is always delicious! The shops at the end had a variety of items, including pineapple products, pineapple wines (good for dessert or baking hams). However, do not expect an actual theme park filled with rides, games of chance and various food stalls - you'll end up quite disappointed. This is a Pineapple plantation / winery / food store that my wife and I (and 5 or 6 others used to visit at least once a month when we lived there! Enjoy! (Oh! Almost forgot, they do not take U.S. Currency and in Japan the credit card companies are allowed to charge up to 15% on all charges, so the Nago Pineapple Park does not take credit cards either, but they do take Yen!)

I was kind of a hostage for this trip, as it was part of an ITT-sponsored "Tour of the North" trip and it was a stop that I would have been happy to bypass. Once in, the only way out is forward, FORWARD! So adults without kids, keep walking and walking around and around the indoor herbarium which does have interesting and beautiful plants, but is also punctuated with plastic pineapple and other Japanese fruit-themed characters. the Japanese children songs are burned into my brain, like "It's a small world after all".
Once you think you're out - they pull you back in and you have to go through the dinosaur exhibit. At this point I just wanted to get back to the bus but WAIT there is more, and you will spend 10 minutes just walking trough all of the shops and stalls selling any kind of pineapple product you could ever think of. Bring water! Unless you like pineapple juice.

I was at Nago Pineapple Park in June and we felt a little too old for the park. It might be great for family with young children. During our visit, it was pouring hence we couldn't enjoy the park thoroughly too.

I joined a local 1-day Okinawa tour and this pineapple park is one of the points of the day trip. The automatic golf cart is so cute to go around the “pineapple green house”. You could see lots of pineapple in the field. After the ride, you could choose to go to see the dinosaur park or go to the souvenir shop and restaurant.

The ride experience would be fantastic for kids. The souvenir shop is great for adults! So it’s a place for good both kids and adults!!!

I tried the fresh pineapple and tasty pineapple ice cream at the restaurant! Lots of pineapple products you could choose at the souvenir shop!! Pineapple cake, pineapple chocolate, pineapple wine, etc!!

Overall, it is an enjoyable place for both kids and adults to spend a few hours here!
