Located seven miles west of downtown, the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is the largest airport in Indiana. About 10 commercial passenger airlines serve the airport, which handled about 7.4 million passengers in 2014. Travelers can fly non-stop between IND and destinations across the United States, as well as points in Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. Air Canada Express, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines are among the carriers operating at IND. The airport has three runways and a single passenger terminal with two concourses and 40 gates.
