Have never flown AirAsia previously and had always had doubts about their schedules, quality of aircraft and staff although I had nothing factual nor any evidence to support these doubts. Although this report shows a Singapore to Penang flight I have since flown several more AirAsia flights from various Asian cities. The theme is pretty much the same. Every single...

I love the self-check in portal and luggage tag. Easy to follow the instruction, however, when the time come for boarding at designated Gate we need to be alert of immediate announcement of changes and have to be quick on your feet to reach the new boarding gate. I was so breathless when I reach the aircraft door.

Good low cost carrier, the only airline to fly between Kota Kinabalu and Hong Kong. Cathay Dragon and Malaysia Airlines no longer fly this route. The flight takes about 3 hours. Was punctual, actually departed before the scheduled time

AirAsia has NEVER FAIL let me down. I believe that is the only thing it is consistent. “CONSTANT DELAY” should be its tagline. I am writing this because this is not my only experience. Most of my experiences with AirAsia ended like this! Worst of all, NO SINCERE APOLOGIES offered. AirAsia had to understand it’s delay caused a lot of...

The check in process was extremely pathetic. Inadequate number of self check in counters that were kept open. Manning of these counters was poor. The queues were merging and the whole scene was chaotic!

The self check in queue was very long and very tiring. There should have been more counters. The baggage at Penang took forever to come. The flying time was 40 minutes and bags took almost about half an hour to come. The wait at the belt was endless.

It was a typical average LCC flight. We had opted for veggie meal at the time of booking. However, the meal was extremely disappointing. Self check in was cumbersome.

We had checked in online a few days before and printed out our luggage tags. So at the airport, we just needed to attach the tags to our check-in luggage using free tag holders provided and self-scan the luggage. We were a bit lost as it was our first time doing the process by self-service but the staff were helpful....
