Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet Airlines (WS) is the country's second largest airline. Along with its regional subsidiary WestJet Encore, the airline flies to about 90 destinations. These include destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe. The airline also has codeshare arrangements with more than a dozen other carriers. WestJet operates airplanes with all Economy Class seating. Passengers can opt for certain fares (known as Plus) that offer preferred seating in the front of the plane with extra legroom. The airline has hubs at Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

Worst airline I have ever experienced. Told us we needed to stop in Toronto for a “minor” mechanical repair. Now I am stuck in Toronto and their “Recovery” airplane has pushed back ETA multiple times. Going to miss my connecting flight. I asked the help number and the people at the check in kiosk if I could get a refund and just purchase a ticket from a different airline. They told me no I could not get a refund. How can any company do this and not even offer a refund? The only thing I have got from them is a $15 food voucher……

There’s no option for flights from San Diego. The plane was on time and clean. But I must write this review because I experienced bad attitude from two flight attendants. The passages in front of me asked to swap seats. One of the flight attendants said “ yes, if no one is taking it”. Because she had moved out of her original seat, I asked if I can move to her seat next to the aisle. The FA said “no, hers is an upgrade “!! Another FA asked me to wait at aisle 4 while the other FA were serving beverages at the middle of the plane. So I did. The man came out from the restroom so I walked towards the restroom. He asked the FA how to flush the toilet. The FA gave me a disgusting look telling me “ I asked you to wait at aisle 4! “ I think WestJet needs to train your crews to be more respectful! Sorry you earned one star from me!…

Excellent airline, very comfortable flight, it did help that only about 2/3 of the airplane was full so there were lots of empty seats. Food was nice, standard airplane food, but tasty. Very impressed with them.
