I had an absolutely horrible experience with Vueling Airlines recently, and I feel compelled to share it. Just three days before my flight, I had traveled with the same airline to Valencia without any issues regarding my baggage. However, during this flight, things took a turn for the worse. When I arrived at the gate, I was told by the ground staff that I would need to pay for a carry-on suitcase, which I had not been informed about earlier. The staff member said she would talk to me after all other passengers had boarded. I was willing to pay the fee once she approached me, but she never did. Instead, after everyone else had boarded, she told me the flight was closed, leaving me standing there, confused and frustrated. What’s even more infuriating is that my companion, who had only one bag within the limit, was also denied boarding without explanation. We were left standing at the airport overnight, missing an important meeting due to this unprofessional and dismissive behavior. To make matters worse, the staff member was not only unhelpful but outright disrespectful, laughing at us as we pleaded for assistance. I even offered to pay the baggage fee at the last minute, but she refused to let us board, completely ignoring our requests for communication. This is the worst airline experience I’ve ever had. The lack of professionalism, the disregard for customer concerns, and the mental distress caused by their staff were truly unacceptable. I’m now seeking a full refund for the tickets due to the mistreatment and the inconvenience caused.
