UZ Airways offers flights with relatively cheap prices. We traveled with a baby. Though we have confirmed a bassinet in our order, we learned that UZ airways do not provide any only when we arrived to our seat. No on-line checking is available. While check-in, you have to be very clear about what you check in and what you take...

Upgraded to business class as the flight was 7ish hours long. The plane was old. No seat-back screens so 'tablets' handed out with a very limited selection of entertainment. The seats were no more than OK but the food was good. The cabin crew on the way out were surly and uncommunicative but the return was a great improvement. The...

Got very lucky thanks to man at counter for check in. With 3 others. Suppose to leave at 2140. That flight was going to be 1.5 hours delayed. We got to the airport just in time to be changed to the 2010 departure. We were the last 4 on the plane. This meant arriving Tashkent 2120, a savings of at...

I was very apprehensive of Flying with this airline as I had Read many differing accounts' Well I had a great flight plenty of leg room and the service by the staff was terrific. But I must admit the plane was not full to capacity.

If you're used to the Gulf based airlines (i.e. Etihad, Emirates, Qatar Airways), you're about to be disappointed. Let's just say that Uzbekistan Airways would need a lot of catching up in terms of service and amenities. The entertainment systems' content for example are all in Uzbek. Most probably done with the Uzbek passengers in mind but for foreigners, they...

The food is so-so I must say, rude stewardesses, no pillow and blankets are allowed - they are only for kids and women (I didn't get it though I 'm a woman :)). Very limited water for passengers. It's only safe and nothing more. Sorry guys.

Similar issue like Air India & British Airways. Govt owned. Ageing Flight Air Hostess. Rude Behavior. First hand experience - 15th Aug Flight - Pressed Flight attendant button. Asked passing Air Hostess in Aisle Seat, but no response. Above all the Security on board warns you to 'keep quiet' otherwise dire consequences like 'you will be declared as drunk &...
