I do not understand why anyone would fly premium class on this airline. I had not used this airline for 2 years but the schedule on United made sense. Old unhappy flight attendants that see the passengers as a burden with sub par food. this was my last flight on United!

We flew UA5987 (United Express, Operated by SkyWest Airlines) from SFO to PHX, in FC on a CRJ-700, in Row 2, C&D. As we fly between Phoenix and San Francisco, approximately every week, we have plenty of experience with those flights, both on UAX, and UA flights. We flew out of the "dreaded" 84A Gate. Eighty-four is an oddity, and...

The plane was a Canadair Regional Jet 700 - it was very clean and the seats were comfortable. The in-air entertainment worked well. The gate agent was friendly and efficient. The crew members were friendly and attentive. We departed as scheduled and arrived early.

Check in at Heathrow went smoothly and the lounge was comfortable if very crowded for my flight into America. Boarding went quickly and I had the seat next to me free, I did notice on this older Boeing 777 that they still had seats facing both ways in Business class. The interior was an older style but the in-flight service...

I was in Group 2. When announcing Group 1, United staff verbally announced that other Group 1 members and go to other group lines to enter plane. Literally, everyone started to wait in the line and all the staff allowed anyone to enter. I continued to wait in Group 2 line. The Group 1 line never slowed because any other...

Let me say that I was surprised with the food people were bringing onto the plane. Pizza, Chinese, I thought to myself do they not service food on this plane. Once on plane the flight crew were great. Very helpful and friendly. The drinks were free and the drink trolley came out about three times. The entertainment was also free...

My morning flight from Seattle to Newark, New Jersey was delayed for 1 hour because of mechanical difficulties. Though annoying, the delay may have contributed to a seat in Business class becoming open for me, as United sent delay notifications starting the previous evening. At the gate, I learned I had moved from #1 on the upgrade wait list to...

Recently flew United's 787 Dreamliner service between SF and Singapore. 16+ hour flight in economy. Paid for extra leg room, which was helpful though not overly generous. Dreamliner was impressive. Flight flew higher and smoother, and aircraft cabin was not as dry - did not arrive dehydrated. Flight food was marginal, but service was better than anticipated.

This was the first time that my family and I were flying on United "Global First" service and we have to admit that was absolutely valuable for that price. Extraordinary flight attendants who served extremely professional and customer focused.
