Could always be worst!

Traveling always sucks! But this time around it was uneventful! We got good seats! A lil uncomfortable but enough leg room! And a great start to an awesome vacation for my son and I!

Isle Chair Saga

For the first part of the trip ( MYR to FLL) my mobility challenged wife had to walk to her seat which was located in row 9 which proved to be quite a distance for her. Although it was a very slow go on foot, she finally made it.
For that part of the trip, I guess I should have been more specific as to her needs when talking to the gate agent. I assumed that because she was on a portable scooter and had a walker, that there would have been an isle chair available or at least been asked if one was required.
However, on the way back, things were very different especially when I specifically asked for an isle chair to transport her to and from the row 9 seat. Many thanks to the attendants who transported her safely.

Unauthorized charge for insurance

The optional travel insurance is automatically checked when checking in and will charge your credit card if you don’t uncheck it before proceeding. Ive noticed this practice by Spirit on several occasions.

Froced to use live agent to make reservation at a cost of 10000 points

I tried to reserve flights for my family using my points. I checked online for the total needed points, and it is 14000. When I called, I was told I needed 24000 points. I can't believe that since I am not allowed to make my reservations because I am not included in the flight, I am forced to use one of their agents. Since I am using their agent to make my reservation, it comes at a cost of an addiotnal 10000 points. This is a scam!!!!1

I had a wonderful experience flying with Spirit Airlines! From the booking process to the flight itself, everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I was especially impressed with the comfort of the seats and the overall cleanliness of the cabin. The flight was on time, and I appreciated the great value for the price. Spirit has definitely earned my trust, and I’ll be flying with them again

If flying with someone who is mobility challenged tell gate attendant that you need an isle chair for onboard transportation.
