A very good service. Plenty of leg room, pleasant cabin crew and all the planes were on time. This was my first time with this airline but I was pleasantly surprised. A long journey passed comfortably. I will be happy to use them again

very highly recommended, we are 2 rather chunky people and fitted in the seats well, neither of us are tall but there was loads of leg room left over. we normally have to upgrade to bulkhead or economy plus etc but didn't feel the need to. the food was good and they turned the lights out quite early after food...

In April 2016 I flew SAA from Denmark to Malawi via London and Johannesburg. The flight experience itself was a standard experience but the drama and waste of time I was to experience following my luggage being lost between Johannesburg and Lilongwe is worth mentioning here to warn other future passengers of SAA and hopefully make SAA shape up their...

The early morning flight left on time although it was quite full. The service received from the crew members was really excellent. The menu catered for various tastes and the quality was also good. On-board entertainment wasn't really an issue because the flight only lasts about 3 hours. All in all a very good experience

This is a long journey - fly to Johannesburg and then an internal flight to Livingstone. Have traveled with other airline but much prefer SAA. Economy seating passably comfortable and food (dinner and breakfast) quite good for airline meals. Served with metal cutlery which is so much nicer than plastic. A long walk at Jo'burg for connection to Livingstone but...

Catching an 08h.00 flight crowds going through security check and only two of several X-ray machines manned causing two long queues. Took 10-minutes to get through security.

I always fly SAA when going on business trips and I must say that I commend their service and food, except for one thing they cant be serving curry rotti in the morning.

Our 11:15 flight was delayed until 10pm that evening with no explanation. Per standard procedure, the airline gave passengers a room and meal vouchers at an airport hotel (no comment). We returned for the evening flight, which was delayed three more hours. Out of the three people in m party, two us of missed our connection in Jo'Burg to Cape...

I was surprised at the great service given by the flight attendants. The cockpit crew were very personable - giving soccer scores in addition to weather reports. Very good food & South African wines all complimentary.
