The national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PK) is headquartered in Karachi and has hubs at Jinnah International Airport (KHI), Allama Iqbal International Airport (LHE) and Islamabad International Airport (ISB). It has also designated seven focus cities. The airline was founded in 1946 as Orient Airways. Pakistan International flies to about 30 domestic destinations and 35 international destinations in 28 countries across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and North America. The carrier's fleet of 36 aircraft feature a variety of configurations, including one-cabin (Economy Class), two-cabin (Business Class and Economy Class, or Economy Plus and Economy Class) and three-cabin (Business Class, Economy Plus and Economy Class) configurations.
