Premium economy seat is roughly equivalent to first class seat on 737 or MD80. The seat does not lie flat, a recline that is close to 45 degrees. Leg room is very good. I ordered a kosher meal for both flights and I must say the meal was very good - BBQ chicken and rice for dinner, and omelette for...

A/C was totally inoperative. Seats are narrower than any other airline I have ever been on. Seat was broke. Whenever I leaned back it would fall back all the way. The staff could not fix it. After 4 hours of this they made me move before landing because my seat was unsafe!

I've been flying JAL Executive Class since 1988. The service is in keeping with the same high standard one experiences throughout Japan. The Sky Suites are thoughtfully designed - we all know that the Japanese are experts at maximising space. Huge tv screens that don't need to be flipped out and replaced, space for putting items where they can be...

Our flight left almost an hour late (02.00am) so we were not even offered a meal! The service level was indifferent and prior to our arrival the European breakfast offered was very poor. The flat beds are okay but nothing special. The return flight from Narita also left an hour late. Once again the service level was indifferent and I...

Very pleasant flight from JFK to NRT despite the long duration. On-time departure, slightly early arrival, very friendly service. Good choices of Japanese and Western food and a nice feature: after the main dinner, one could order diverse food items as one wished and pretty much at any time ( there was some period, where this service was not available)....

The seating was old and so was the aircraft (Boeing 777) and the service and food did not match the aircraft or the service from wither Europe or US. JAL appear to set the food standard to match competition and although the food was very well presented I have had a lot better. The staff are always friendly and courteous.

Japan Airlines has always been famous for its good service and this flight does not disappoint. Even with a nearly full cabin, the service is still attentive and warm. Food is as usual, quite good. For breakfast, since I wasn't particularly hungry, I was going to choose the Western option but the flight attendant talked me into going Japanese. The...

After our super stay at Club Med Hokkaido, we were flying to Tokyo to spend 2 days there. After a smooth checkin, we had some very good food at the airport restaurant. The flight was on time, short, smooth and comfortable. My kids complained about no inflight TV, but managed to keep them occupied nonetheless.

After reaching Tokyo on an overnight JAL flight from Singapore, we took this domestic flight to Hokkaido. Though we had checked in our luggage straight through to Hokkaido, we still had to do it again in Tokyo. That was strange. It was a long journey in Haneda airport to the domestic section. We stopped at the lounge which was spacious...

It was our first time to fly JAL. The service was great and staffs were friendly. The food and beverage was better than other airlines. I will use this their service very soon.
