Horrible experience

Miami - MadridInternational

Flight was six hours delayed. No explanations or refund offers. I sent an email complaining, and they did nothing to fix this problem. The airplane was very old. Service, food, and seat were mediocre at best. I suggest trying to avoid Iberia as much as possible.

terrible experience, they did not load 1x of our bags , were told the bag would arrive next day as we were leaving the day after to go on cruise , called the next day were told the bag had attired and would be delivered to our hotel 7am the next morning .. this was a total lie , called the next morning as bag did not arrive , told the the bag was at the airport with no delivery time .. again total.lie , told to go to the airport as we could collect the bag .. again lied to , arrived at the airport ,none from inberia as they don't start to 4pm ????? , spent over 1 hour , walked for miles together eventually told bag had not been sent from Madrid the previous day , could not confirm if it was coming that day , even if it arrives no guarantee it will be sent on as leaving sanjuan today on a 11 day cruise , over 10 calls to iberia , no-one iterested , customer service the worst I have ever experienced , lie after lie after lie , if they don't know something it seems their customer service training tells them to just lie and tell people what they think they want to hear even if it makes the situation worse , absolutely gutted

Most incompetent airline

Definitely the worst air travel experience I ever had! Their website sucks, their staff suck and not helpful. I was late by 5 minutes past the boarding time and there was still about 30 minutes left to take off but they didn’t allow me to board, which is fine, but they didn’t help collect my baggage - I couldn’t step out of the airport to collect it myself as it was a connecting flight in a country where I didn’t have a visa - requested them to bring it to me and they just pointed directions at different people and none were helpful. Their website sucks and didn’t help entering my dietary restrictions and I was hungry throughout the flight duration - for 11 hours. Never fly with them!

Unprofessional airline

1. Our first flight with them was delayed. Our plane sped down the runway then stopped abruptly causing many passengers to get whiplash!!! We were stuck in the plane for 3 hour’s waiting to find out the issue. Eventually they told us something was wrong with the landing breaks. We still took off, but were late to our connecting flight. 2. On our way back home from Italy, they cancelled our flight 30 minutes before. Then they rebooked our flight for another flight that left in 2 hours. However they it took 2 hours to just get our bags from the original plane. Instead of sending us from Italy to Barcelona they sent us from Italy to Paris then to Barcelona. Wasted 10 hours of our lives for nothing. 3. They never gave us a flight back to California. When we finally made in to Barcelona they told us we would have to wait for flight. At first they were hesitant on booking us a hotel, but eventually did. When we got to the hotel, the hotel said they have never done anything connected to Iberia. We spent an hour trying to get Iberia to pay for the hotel that was over $150 euros. Iberia also lied and told us a shuttle would pick us up in the morning, we had to take a taxi. We finally got rescheduled for a flight a day later. 4. I will never fly with this unprofessional airline again, nor should you.

Don’t go Iberia

Miami - MadridInternational

Worse case of flight cancellation, un cancellation , re cancellation. Finally ended up going through London airport connection. Spent the night in Miami but the hotel accommodations were about as bad as you ll get, spent night in Miami airport hotel but that didn’t count for freebie… do not fly Iberia…
