It was a full flight leaving Seattle on a Sunday mid afternoon on flight 1402. Boarding was relatively efficient and I really liked the entertainment centers in the back of the seat in front of you as well as the electrical outlets. Service was a little slow and the attendance seemed a bit harried but we're friendly. We arrived 10...

I joined a tour to go to America and I had no option to choose which airlines. Based on airline reviews in the past, AA does not have good reputation. On the date of departure, being a silver member of Qatar Airways and being a silver member of Cathay Pacific at the same time, I was lucky enough to choose...

Was on the later flight to DCA but flew standby on this flight. Gate agent was rude about processing standby. Flew a 737 and it was in fine condition with a comfortable seat, acceptable legroom (exit row), etc. Economy FA was rude and, unlike most FAs, did not acknowledge my 'status' with the airline etc. and ask if I wanted...

Great experience flying from DCA-ORD on a Friday afternoon. First class FA was superb--despite busy boarding, did pre-departure beverage. Extremely attentive service in-flight with multiple beverage refills, etc. Flight was in the middle of the afternoon between lunch and dinner and so the food was a very reasonable-for-the-time option of a cheese plate or pita, veggies, and hummus. Cheese was...

Good in-flight experience in first class. Very attentive FAs did pre-flight beverages and a full meal service, drink refills, etc. Breakfast offering was eggs or French toast; not amazing, but acceptable. Gate agent could have been more polite; he sort of grunted when he took my boarding pass. On-time departure and arrival and quick taxi to gate at DCA.

Seriously cant you get a plane away on time! The trauma of US air travel is exaggerated but the inability by American to get away on time. Trying to transit the US is painful enough but your tardiness constantly is nauseating. Planes are updated and have improved but to arrive at Dallas at 6.40am and getting into SFO at night...

Delays are a normal part of American Airlines. You will get to your destination sometime later than you paid American Airlines to get you there. You better be on time for your flight or they will leave you but they can be late and don't even say they are sorry. They don't keep their own flight schedules.

I booked along with my family on August.18 from JFK to Boston early morning flight - hoping to reach there by 8:30 .After the check in we were told - there is a delay of half hour . Then we were seated in the aircraft and all passengers seated and waited because the pilot did not report on duty and...

Smaller jet with a single seat on one side and double on the other, so lots of room on the single side. Boarding and departure was quick, during the flight some basic snacks offered and the service was quite good. A quick trip with no issues.

This review is for both legs of this roundtrip. The flight was a brief one and rather simple; no transfers. The flight experience itself was uneventful and there is really nothing special about American's service. The unfortunate thing is that, even with this simple flight, they couldn't manage to get our one checked suitcase there. Apparently, other suitcases didn't make...
