The most direct route from Southern Spain to Canada is Air Transat. Check in was fine but we had expected priority boarding etc as we booked the "extra" package which included extra baggage, seat selection and priority boarding. This did not happen. Other than being totally let down...the flight was somewhat comfortable. Video options were adequate. Seats had power which...

We took a flight on July 14th. 2016, service was poor even if we had taken "Option Plus". The flight attendant would not speak in French, I can speak English, but hey I'm the customer. The movie system was out of order, more than deceiving for a flight over 9 hours. The Bistro menu was more than poor (2 choice...

After booking my flights . I always book my seats. Usually an extra $25 each way per person. I do this because in the past with another airline, I had booked the flight and when I got yo the airport there where no seats left. I was told you had to book seats as well the flight. I eventually left...

Booked an all inclusive with Transat. Our expectations are pretty low for airlines when flying economy but this one really bottomed out. By the time the flight attendants handed out travel forms and sold food and drink we were 2.5hrs into the three hour flight. Then came the complementary hospitality--the soft drink or water. One attendant was serving it while...

We have flown this route for many years - only company with a direct flight from north of England. Due to wedding had extra baggage so tried "option plus". Certainly easier check-in, but didn't notice much difference on the plane unless you wanted the extra alcohol! A little more service to passengers from cabin attendants would not have gone amiss....

Been travelling with Transat for many years and always had great service and meals passable. The wraps were awful inedible and several people agreed. We were frozen and asked the staff 4 times to turn the air conditioning down but this didn't happen so spent over 8 hours frozen and uncomfortable. Will make sure I take sandwich and wear warm...

We flew from london gatwick to Vancouver and was delayed for over 24hrs due to our plane being in a crash at Vancouver airport and so the plane was taken out of service and another one flew over to us. The ground staff were appalling with information, they told us nothing at all and we were left to our own...

Finally after 6 months of waiting (booked 6 months ahead) our flight was scheduled on June 6th 2016. YYC - AMS. With my 6'8" I had to fly ClubClass as I simply don't fit in Economy. I cannot call it Business Class for a couple of reasons: 1) When its time to board both ClubClass and Option+ passengers are called,...

I was really worried about flying Air Transat. I'd read so many reviews about how bad literally every part of the service was, I thought this was going to be a 7 hour trip to hell. I am 6'6" and not exactly Twiggy, so we usually fly P/E on Virgin to the States. This being our first trip to Canada,...

The schedule stated departure was 7AM..This was confirmed within 24hrs..We arranged a wakeup call for 3.45AM so we would be at the airport in plenty of time to prepare for the flight. At approx. 7.15 an announcement was made that there would be approximaely a 20min. delay..then another delay. Finally we were told the delay was due to the catering...
