I flew this airline from Austin to Reykjavik (stayed for a three day 'stayover'), to Copenhagen then from Copenhagen to Chicago. Each of the airlines I flew had great service and the seats were really comfortable. For some reason the first flight offered free use of blankets, while the last one did not give out any blankets, which i found...

Iceland air provides basic economy travel at quite high price. We found the flight to be on time. In future we are going to explore other airlines that offer much lower cost fair for basic no frill economy class travel

Both flights going and departing an hour delay. Sat on the plane an hour and other flight in a srairwell. Told flight crew late on the departure delay. Seats in economy worn out...so hard my bottom hurt. No meals on international flight. Wish I had known. Really uncomfortable even on an exit row. Crew friendly. Ok choice of movies

We used Icelandair for the first time for our round trip tour of Scandinavia, with a stopover in Reykjavik, Iceland. Every aspect of every flight was great. We were able to online pre-order our meals, which were delivered promptly and tasted great. The flight attendants were professional and courteous, not surly. The US airlines need to learn from Icelandair. There...

Flew to Iceland and back for a week, with Icelandair both ways. We enjoyed both flights. The plane was comfortable and clean. The service was good. The seat was small but also had good entertainment in the built in screen. Flights left and arrived on time. Would definitely fly Icelandair again.

Our flight was 6 hours there and 7 hours back. "Saga Class" is the same kind of seats as are in 1st Class on domestic airlines, which on a long flight are not nearly as comfortable as business class on most international carriers. They recline, but no where near flat. Not the best for sleeping. Food is mediocre...not awful, but...

Decent flight. Free soft drinks although no free meals on this transatlantic flight. You have to pay extra for the headphones for the inflight entertainment, so bring your own. On the flights I have been on with Iceland air the cabin crew tend to only do one drinks service, but are more then happy to provide you with more drinks...

Iceland air was offering a very good economical fare for this route 2 months before travel in holiday season compared to other airlines. BOOKING TICKET - Booking was straight forward and they offer FREE advance seat booking at the time of booking for all legs of the journey including return which helped us a family of 4 travelling. ONLINE CHECK...

Several of us flew Icelandair (IAD-KEF) for a vacation. Both ways were delayed. Though not excessive (1.5 hours), it would have meant missed connections for anyone needing that. On the way out, we were able to upgrade to Comfort, which comes with an empty seat next to you and some food. Both are welcome, as is the friendliness of the...

I realize that this review site is for Icelandair but the awful state of its base airport at Reykjavik nullifies all positive aspects of the airline (like the entertainment system) on Icelandair. Also, the WifI system failed and the crew was unable to give any advice on this. The main advantage with Icelandair is that they "allow" for one-way tickets...
