I flew IcelandAir not too long ago to Manchester. It was a business trip so I had the opportunity to fly in their Saga class. It was about half the price of a business class flight with other major airlines. I'll grant you the accommodations aren't quite as crazy on the plane as United for example but they're spacious and...

As this was my first trip abroad and alone I chose to go to Iceland as it was highly recommended by friends as being a safe and fun place. I drove 3 hours to Edmonton from Calgary to catch a direct flight only to find it that my flight had been delayed by 5+ hours. I was sent to email...

Icelandair has recently started to charge for an extra bad on their North America flights. All good and dandy but how is a 7700ISK charge justifiable ONE WAY??? Thats 15000ISK round trip!!! FYI that is 130US dollars!!! Other airlines charge between 35 and 40 US dollars. that translated in round trip is less that one way with Icelandair.....oh and the...

This was our first time flying with Icelandair and can definitely say should the time arise to fly with them I would do so with little apprehension. We recently flew on four flights with them in economy seats with comfortable legroom, which would be equivalent to premium economy based on US airlines. All of our flights went smoothly, on-time arrivals,...

The bad experience started after I did the booking on the Icelandair web site that state:" you will be able to select your seat" and could not. I called the reservation line and the agent spoke angrily telling me to come early to the airport to get a seat and than hang up on me. When I called again same...

It took me an hour to make a simple reservation to fly to Reykjavik. However when they sent the e-ticket they had cut off the last few letters of my wife's first and last name. You cannot correct this name change on line and I feared that it no longer matched her passport. So I called Iceland Air. After 15...

This was sold as a premium economy equivalent product and although it was cut down compared to say, Virgin Atlantic, is nevertheless represented very good value for money. This was one of Icelandair's Boeing 767s (rather than the 757 which proliferates a lot of their services). Food was good, service was excellent.

This was actually a premium economy equivalent on an Icelandair 767. The 5'45" flight was very comfortable, food was good and the in-flight service was excellent. WIll certainly consider flying them again.

I always use Icelandair when travelling between Canada and Europe. I initially picked them for the good price, but it was such a pleasant experience that I continued to use it. Never had a bad experience, staff is very helpful and friendly, the airline is extremely dependable - no strikes, no major delays etc. In addition, they often offer great...

Given that Icelandair is generally cheaper compared to many of the other legacy carriers, I was a bit hesitant to fly with them. Overall, I had a great experience with this airline and will be happy to fly with them again. All of my flights left on time, staff was always friendly and helpful and the seats in economy were...
