Have taken Icelandair about half a dozen times before. Always because of two bag allowance, and stopover in Iceland. Icelandair is one of the very few who offer a two bag coach allowance. That's huge for us. We always plan a few day stopover in Iceland, just love it. Now a few off putting experiences, not bad, but to be...

Icelandair flies from O'hare to Amsterdam, London, Paris and many other destinations via Reykjavik Iceland. The service is good but not always on-time, which can present an issue when connecting. There is also no food service on an int'l flight and all entertainment includes the 2:30 "Iceland tourism video". Keflavik airport is clean, modern and quick, but seems engineered to...

Plane arrives late into London, misses its departure slot and left one hour late. They were boarding my connecting flight but the crew made no reference to the late arrival. Rekhjavik was a shambles. Clearly the terminal is too small. The plane to Denver was packed and it was the most unpleasant flight I can remember. The inflight food, which...

We recently flew Icelandair and chose Economy Comfort and the experience was wonderful. On our way to Iceland we sat in seats normally reserved for first class but used for economy comfort and were very comfortable. On the way back, we had the more traditional seating where the middle seat was blocked out for our comfort. The service was excellent...

The airport processing was good up until we started to board. There is no boarding gate just a long metal hallway resembling a shipping container. After having our boarding passes checked we were headed to another container with glass doors. these open automatically and allow the fumes of the running buses to come in but not out. After breathing noxious...

This was one of the worst flights I've had in years. The flight attendance came around twice with water and such for a 8 hour flight to Iceland, and were surly at best. The flight from Iceland to Amsterdam wasn't any better.

We flew Icelandair to Paris via Reykjavik July 1st. and back to Reykjavik September 4 before returning to NY September 8. Frankly you get what you pay for, Jet Blue over the Atlantic. No frills, few smiles and the amount of space the fare warrants. Flights from Reykjavik to Paris and return much better. Late arriving into Reykjavik with tight...

Very good flight, on time but no meal and we had to get the plain by a stepleather in the rain. Except that everything is perfect.

We flew comfort class which was very reasonable and provided excellent in-flight service. Iceland-air does not charge extra for stopovers when visiting Iceland for up to seven nights. Going through customs, baggage, airport service was seamless. Additionally, the first class lounge in Dulles and Reykjavik are opened to comfort class passengers.
