Milos - Athens

The short flight itself was fairly comfortable and the takeoff/landing was smooth. That's where the compliments end. As people have stated on here in the past, BE AWARE that your luggage MAY NOT get put on the plane. This was something we weren't aware of before we got to Athens. My checked bag with all of my clothes did not make it to Athens. The process to get any details were very unclear. It wasn't until I picked up my bag the next day from the airport that they have restrictions as to weight, so they choose to not put bags on the flight (understandable). But there was NO WORD to us about this possibly happening. I'm just glad we were flying out the next day so I could pick up the bag (there were stories told that sometime the bags don't get to the next destination for 2-3 days b/c they have to use a boat to transfer the luggage).…

Paros - Athens
Domestic
We traveled on August 1st from Paros to Athens at 4pm. We decided to travel by plane, instead of ferry, since we had a flight at 8:15 p.m. to Madrid. We paid €150 per person (the most expensive rate) since we were traveling with a large suitcase. We checked two suitcases, one large and one small. When we arrived at the Athens airport, our large suitcase did not arrive (the small one did)... When we asked a person at the airport, she told us that it is normal since due to the weight of the plane they always leave suitcases at the airport!! We made the claim after a long line and a service that gave us 0 confidence (where they confirmed us many times that the suitcase was not going to arrive that day). Frustrated we left but first we decided to go through all the baggage lanes to take a final look.... and there was our suitcase in baggage claim 12 (our lane was number 4)!!! Apparently they put it on a later plane and no one notified us. Not only that, but they changed the label. The sticker with the bar code (tracking number) we had on our plane ticket was totally different from the one on the suitcase!! That's why they couldn't locate It. Luckily we had a happy ending but if we had left we would never have found the suitcase since we made the claim with a code ( tracking number) that had nothing to do with the one they put on the suitcase. Recommendation: Better ferry than plane if you have a suitcase!!! If you still decide to travel by plane, ask and make sure that the suitcase arrives and that the ticket code matches the one on the suitcase!! incredible but true!!…

We flew from Athens to Kythera on this short 40-minute flight, both flights OA056 and the return OA057 were delayed by around 10 to 30 minutes on both flights. The flight is a small turbo prop (ATR 72-600), which was comfortable with plenty of leg room. The cabin crew were friendly and appeared helpful to px that required help, they managed to issue a drink and a biscuit in the 35-minute flight too!! Both flights were comfortable and I would fly them again. The booking process was straight forward and their ongoing communication was excellent. They communicate every step by SMS, even your baggage check!!…

We decided to fly from Milos to Athens to save time. Big mistake! Always take the ferry and be in control of your luggage. We arrived at Athens and waited at the luggage carousel for more than 30mins. Other passengers started noticing their air tags showed their luggage was still at Milos. They didn't even bother to notify us they hadn't loaded our luggage. Probably due to weight restrictions on their tiny planes. After a long weight at Aegean baggage services we were told "this happens all the time". If you have connecting flights, like most on our flight, your holiday will be screwed. DO NOT FLY WITH CHECKED LUGGAGE!…

Absolute hack of an airline. After travelling for 36 hours on our fourth leg from Atlanta, GA to Paros the attendant told us it would be $40 per bag for a 45 minute flight without even weighing them. Would not recommend this airline to my worst enemy.
