Born and raised in North Carolina, I've traveled around the United States, visited a couple of places in Canada (actually lived in Winnipeg for about 6 months... don't ask!), spent a summer in Ireland, did my own "grand tour" of Europe by train - flew to Brussels to visit friends (who took me for a gorgeous day in Brugge) and then trained to Zurich, Milan (again to stay with friends and visited Bergamo), Brindisi and took the ferry to Athens. Have also visited Paris and Berlin, and, finally, I've lived in Israel for the most part since 1981.
