If I had the finances, I would forego having a home base at all, and would travel 100% of the time. The world is huge, and so much to see, I can't imagine getting bored for the rest of my life.

I like the beach, but I also like history. I'll take Kauai, Hawaii any day, but I plan to visit New Zealand, Greece, Norway and Ireland as my top priorities after that.
