I love it here in Taiwan. It's got the buzz of the modern city, the tranquility of the old countryside, friendly people, beautiful scenery. Within such a compact space is a treasure trove of natural and man-made resources, from snow-capped mountains to seabed hot springs; bamboo forests to sandy beaches; mountain railroad to coral reefs. There's classical art and modern art, ancient culture and youth culture. I'm happy to welcome visitors to Taiwan and to share my country with you. :)

Starting Nov. 22, 2009, I'll try to include in my first DAYTIME post of each day a bit of information about the weather in TAIPEI (only), especially during the particularly unpredictable Sept. ~ May period. (The slash indicates outdoor / indoor wear.)
