Theatrical producer that often lives out of a suitcase -- used to be a total road warrior, sleeping on planes, eating in hotels for majority of the year, but slowing down now, where I find living closer to an airport in the region reduces travel burdens (hence why I live in Shanghai).

When traveling I look for hotels downtown within walking distance of grocery, have high speed (not device specific) wifi, king size comfy beds with feather pillows, english tv programming such as CNN and Discovery channel, large showers with strong water pressure and smoking permitted (even on a balcony is great) along with English speaking staff.
