A native Californian, I grew up in Pismo Beach on the central coast of Calif. and graduated from Univ. of Calif. at Santa Cruz. I lived for many yrs in So. Calif. and worked as a customer service mgr. in the consumer products industry (toys and electronics) inc. Mattel Corp. in Hawthorne. My husband and I moved to Sonoma Co. in 1986 where he was a teacher and I worked in real estate appraisal until we both retired several yrs. ago. Now our free time (and $$$) are mostly spent on travels, photography, wine and good food. Yet even when we stay close to home, Sonoma County provides the very best of all 4 categories!
