Was a bit disappointed We were so looking forward to coming back to this hotel as we hadn’t been here for a few years The first thing that upset me was my husband had booked the hotel and we were going for his birthday so I thought I would do something nice for him so I got in touch with Lee mills for a birthday package in our room and Lee was brilliant We arrived early and we weren’t expecting the room to be ready we just wanted to leave our case with concierge but unfortunately the lady on the desk said our room wasn’t ready because of the birthday package I was hoping to surprise my husband but that didn’t happen We were upgraded to executive room unfortunately the headboard had seen better days it looked like a cat had been at it and the carpet by the door was thread bear I was so glad we had been upgraded free of charge Then the digital key wouldn’t work although the lovely receptionist tried a few times Then after breakfast on our last morning we got in the lift and our key card wouldn’t work someone else was in the lift so we got to the 6th floor then had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to the 9th floor What I will say was the staff couldn’t be any more helpful The concierge the receptionist and zussana from hungry from the executive lounge was very helpful and lovely Because of these problems we will think twice about returning

Attended the hotel with 4 colleagues. A rely lovely venue for an informal business meeting.
Indu was so helpful within the cafe area and deserves a lot of praise.
A quiet comfortable reception space which facilitated open conversation and discussion.
Prices for drinks on the expensive side but that was a small drawback only.

Fantastic location, just round the corner from the tube. A great looking hotel, lovely reception/bar area with plenty of seating. We arrived at 10 to 3 but checking wasn't till 3 so we had to wait, which we were surprised about as it was so close to the check in time. The room was lovely & spacious with plenty of amenities: fridge, ice bucket, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, safe. The bed was large & comfortable but the quilt was a lightweight one & so not heavy enough for me. The pillows were too soft for my liking. The shower was compact but the water was hot & had great pressure. We went to the bar on the roof 'Savage Garden', it was very funky with great music. We didn't go onto the outside rooftop bar as it was too cold. The waiters were fantastic, attentive without being overbearing. There were quite a few of us & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast was delicious with loads of variety to choose from. The restaurant was comfortable with ample seating for different size groups.

I was a bit disappointed with the standard of the room, given how nice the communal areas of the hotel are, including the excellent roof top bar. The rooms were clean and functional but felt very basic and a bit below what I would expect. I am not seeking luxury but I have stayed at similar spec hotels nearby for a similar price which had nicer rooms so unfortunately I think I would look elsewhere on my next business trip.
