Booked via Priceline as a 3.5 star hotel. It is a clean basic hotel with excellent location. It is half a block from Times square, which means it can be noisy at night. The rooms are large, clean but with dated carpets and furniture. The bathrooms are also clean. However the hotel cannot be considered luxurious, more of a 3 star hotel. The rack rates are priced like with the more luxurious hotels in the neighborhood. Would only consider this hotel if the prices are in the 3 star hotel range. « less

I stayed at this hotel most recently when my husband took me to see "Chicago"! I have stayed here in the past as well, but it has always been a great experience.
The room are clean, the lobby is pretty fancy, the views are pretty good, the location is great, and the staff is pretty courteous. The only thing I would say is that sometimes this hotel is a little pricey, but it is NYC...so what isn't! « less

Read uncbones review, it's pretty much spot on. The Millennium Broadway isn't the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Manhattan but far from the worse. The location is ideal, 1/2 block to Times Square. Most of what a visitor to NY would want is within a 10 block radius of the hotel.
The room we were in could use a face lift, so I can't speak for other rooms. My only complaint was what I would call a plumbing smell (not sewage) in the room.
I would rate the value lower if I'd paid $300+/night, we got our room for $150/night via priceline. For that price, the value can't be beat. « less

Room was very clean, views were great, doorman was great, location was great but service was a nightmare. Check in had long lines with little help. We arrived at 8am & checkin was 3pm. Knowing we needed 2 dbl.beds for 3 people we were later told there were only king beds left. After having to wait in a long line four diff.times we were promised a rollaway that took forever to come. The safe was broken& not enough towels for the amount of people. These problems were taken care of hours later. We had a fruit tray delivered as a gift & the giver was incorrect so we knew not who to thank. After we ate it & sat the tray outside our door it was never picked up until over a day later. Free internet to print boarding passes and that was nice. Only a small bar and once a day restaurant for only a continental breakfast that was quite expensive. I've been to NYC many time & I wouldn't stay here again because of the staffing. « less

other than the very firm mattresses that made my bones ache, the accomodations were ok. The bathroom was an adequate size, water pressure was fine, it would have been nice to have double sinks. The room was clean. We could never get the AC/heat to regulate temps;dont turn on more than one thing (hair dryer or iron) or the power will go off in the room. « less
