Nice enough hotel in terms of the room/bed...your average Sheraton/Marriott type. They take dogs which is nice, and the reason we chose it since we had to travel with our pet. HOWEVER - the hotel was the BIGGEST INTENTIONAL RIPOFF I've ever experienced in 20 years of extensive traveling. We ordered room service one morning, was a crummy omelet and two english muffins and a bowl of berries (whcih was a substitute since they did not have a continental breakfast) , a small pot of coffee and two small orange juices and they charged us $72. Yes, that wasn't a typo, $72!!! $5.50 for each small glass of orange juice. 11 bucks for a small pot of coffee. Over $30 in service charges, with THREE separate service charges, that were NOT outlined ahead of time There was a service charge associated with charging for another service charge. HUGE RIPOFF. Obviously an orchestrated and planned rip-off. And to boot - the omelet itself was sad, small and tasteless, the english muffins stale and served with no jam, and it took them another 30 minutes to bring up 3 little jam packets. It was such a well-hidden rip-off, since the room service menu had no prices attached, and was so no frills in its offerings, very bare bones in its options. Unbelievable. I thought the tab was a typo. Service was horrible. I couldn't believe it...the guy at the front desk just shrugged. I'm guessing he dealt with customers who had this ripoff experience before there. I didn't throw a fit in the lobby, but felt like doing it. Customer care was appalling. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, ever. It was a terrrible experience. « less

I stayed at the Sheraton during a business conference at my office nearby. While I was impressed initially with the hotel’s lobby, I found the hotel rooms needing an extensive renovation. Being a SPG gold member, I was thankfully upgraded to a nice corner room, which was spacious with a nice high-def TV. I thought the room was ok, albeit a little tired. The bathrooms were somewhat cramped and I was none too pleased in the morning to find 1) a rather large insect crawling around in the bathtub, and 2) a lack of sufficient hot water. After chasing the bug around for a couple minutes and managing to flush it down the drain, I proceeded to take my lukewarm shower and get moving. I will hand it to the staff, once I did identify a problem with the hot water, it was fixed the next day. I was somewhat surprised that they didn’t make any effort to compensate me for either the insect or hot water issues the first night. Usually, there’s at least a little effort taken on their part to seem apologetic.
The food was mediocre and horribly overpriced. I can’t imagine a bigger rip-off than their room service menu. Easily some of the highest mark ups I’ve seen in all my travels for food, if the actual price doesn’t insult your intelligence, the number of fees they tack on will. The Fish and Chips and Chicken Quesedilla were the only two items I could stand to order without choking on my own righteous indignation. I felt dirty even charging it to my expense account.
I can’t in good faith fully recommend this hotel until they decide to finish updating their rooms, given the proximity to my company’s office, I would stay again, but with reservations. « less

This is a great hotel. It is located near many corporate office headquarters and within 30 minutes of New York City. There are two great restaurants and a bar at the hotel. it is filled with business travelers on weekdays and pretty light on weekends. It makes you feel like you are at a great hotel not in Parsippany. It is clean, well kept and the staff is great! « less

The outside of the Hotel is absolutely beautiful especially at night. The staff is wonderful. The food is pretty decent. The rooms are very comfortable. I'm happy to say I did not experience any troubles with the rooms as some of the travelers commented on. However, the air conditioner was loud and a bit annoying. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. « less
