Because the hotel is in the airport you get a lot of noise from the planes but mostly from the traffic because it has an expressway in front and in back. We did not get a good night's rest while there. We were happy that there is a restaurant on site but the service is not very good. It took us two hours to eat two all day omelets and two pasta dishes. we did not get our water refilled the entire night. The food was not worth the wait nor the price. « less

If you like noise, you'll love this hotel. There was noise from the airport, of course (as with all airport hotels), but there was noise from the highway, noise from adjacent rooms and noise from the hallway too. It's one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed at.
Otherwise, it's fine. Location is OK (although there are many airport hotels that are farther from the freeway noise and easier to get to), bed was very comfortable, staff was great. « less

Really good value hotel for when you just need to crash between flights, after a late arrival or before an early morning departure. No complaints at all, but it's worth remembering that the shuttle is only every half hour so don't miss it! Also, after about 10:30pm you'll need to use the courtesy phone at the airport to ask for the shuttle to come and get you. Quick transfer though, and the driver even dropped me right at the terminal as there were only 3 of us on the bus! « less

Without duplicating much of what has been previously written. Good hotel, 5 minutes from the airport by the free shuttle bus (runs every 30 mins top and bottom of the hour from/to P4). Hotel is clean, rooms are good size, no noise to speak of despite its proximity to the airport and 2 freeways. Blackout curtains. Inroom coffee, courtesy coffee available in the lobby. Breakfast is extra at $16, buffet type or hot meals available. Much cheaper than Manhatten hotels for weekend breaks. Buy your train tickets to New York Penn Station (34th Street opposite Macys and Madison Square Garden) from the hotel reception and save $5. Take free hotel shuttle bus to P4, take airtrain monorail from P4 to Airport rail link station. Take NJ transit train from rail link to NY Penn Station. Allow 1 hour door to door but it really only takes around 40-45 minutes with waiting between connections. I was there for 2 nights and enjoyed it. Would stay there again as the cost and the ease of travel to Manhatten makes it a good, cost effecive location especially if you're flying into and out of Newark. « less
