good location, railway station only a few minutes away, rooms were kept clean and clean towels etc every day. rooms at the front overlooked the hotel garden rooms at the back overlooked a fruit garden and a block of residential flats. The breakfast consisted of Tea or Coffee waiter served and the food was buffet style, there were rolls, pastries, cakes, ham, cheese, cereals, fruit salad and fresh fruit, the down side was the weak watery fruit juices. The evening meals were good especially a choice of starter and main course was given, the pasta starter was good, the downside was sometimes the portions were small but soon put right by the staff when told of the problem, the other thing was there was no choice of dessert. On the whole this Hotel had friendly helpful staff and we would use it again « less

If you want to saty in this hotel,I suggest you do not opt for half board as the food is terrible and the portions are small, for example one sausage and a few diced boiled potatos does not consitute a main dish. Also the produce is of cheap, stale and of poor quality The breakfast's consist of a few stale bread rolls with watered down fruit juice, limited meat selection (ie 1).
I really do not know that planet some of the previous reviewers have come from if they stay that the food was great. « less

stayed there in Aug 09, as Hotel was not in the brochure we were not sure what to expect, arrived at a lovely elegant Hotel, marble floors, very friendly welcome, we had a room with 4 beds in although only 2 of us, so plenty room, the balcony was huge with table and chairs, air-cond was brilliant as it was very very hot in August, no extra cost either! The food was brilliant and far too much for us to eat, large portions at every meal, only complaint was the 'tinned fruit' for breakfast and the powdered juice, but also lots of cakes, cheese, ham, rolls, spinach pies etc, evening meals were starter, main, salad and sweet, the waiters were all lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you, the location of the Hotel is excellent, straight out onto the main Corsa Italia the main road through Sorrento, 10 min walk to the main square where you can sit and people watch, 5-10min walk to the local station where you can catch the train to Pompei, Naples, very cheap. Wish this Hotel had a swimming pool as had to walk across the road to use the Tourist Hotel pool, the Zi Teresa has a very large roof terrace which was not being used for anything really, shame they couldn't have a swimming pool up there. Loved it and would go back anytime. « less

We stayed at the Zi Teresa with an EF Tour group in June, 2009. It was the nicest hotel our group stayed in during our 10 our of Italy. The front desk staff was very helpful. Our room was very nice, clean, roomy. We had a partial view of the ocean from our balcony, which was great. The ocean is about 2 blocks away from the hotel. We thought the marble floors in the hallways were beautiful, as was all of the decor. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both were the best we had during our 10 day tour. Our dinner consisted of pasta, slices of breaded pork cooked in a wine/butter? sauce, and spinach. All were delicious. The breakfast they served our group was the most generous on our tour, and it included several types of quiche, toast, warm rolls, muffins, several kinds of sweet breads, and cereals. The only complaint I have is that the cost of the room does not include air conditioning. If you want air, you must pay $5 Euro (about 7.50 US dollars) per person (not per room!) per night. We opted not to get the air, so as to skip a $15 charge. It worked out fine for us, as there was a wonderful ocean breeze. I wish we could have stayed at that hotel another night, and would definitely recommend it to anyone. « less
