Well appointed, tastefully decorated, spacious rooms and a maintained pool. The location is a 15 minute motopod ride away from the main town. This is a much quieter alternative to the nightly party atmosphere near Bar Street. The main streets of Siem Reap can be very loud, especially as bands can be heard competing from rooftop venues and below. This hotel provided a very appealing alternative and an intimate setting. We enjoyed breakfasts and drinks provided by the on-site café as well as the courtesy of staff.

A great hotel, a little bit out of Siem Reap (more like 4 miles out than 3km!!), but, it was worth the tuk-tuk journeys as the hotel was quiet, peaceful and like an Oasis in the desert. Our room was quite large, the bathroom opulent and the doors opened up onto the small - but lovely swimming pool. The food and service were both very good and the local shops provided a great supply of local beer - I truly recommend the Black Panther Dark Beer/Porter/Stout, this deserves to win more medals!!! The nearby ancient Atwea Temple is well worth a visit, we went a few times and never saw another soul. Overall a great venue, but, if you want the hustle bustle and party atmosphere of Siem Reap then this probably isn't for you.

I can't believe I haven't finished this review! My bad! I really enjoyed my time at Bamboo Forest...it was a bit away from the city but the walk into town was lovely and humbling with smiley Khmer people along the way - I did it a couple of times! It's also located about 2 minutes away from one of the Angkor Pass temples which was pretty much deserted but offers a look a temple if you don't want to get into one of the circuits! The beef lok lak was delicious but all other food here was sub-par...I wouldn't recommend it for the food but it's great for a chill holiday with lovely, modern rooms and amenities! I would definitely stay here again! :)

Nice place with a little family pool. Love the way this little place look. Cozy place, though the room is pretty spacious. Hot shower is not consistent, where the water temperature changes from cold to warm and hot throughout shower time. Apart from that price is good and food is local and satisfactory.

We just left Bamboo Forest to move to another hotel closer to the city and I wish we had never left. Bamboo Forest is a little out of the way but the travel is worth it to enjoy the peaceful quiet serenity this hotel offers. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is simple but great especially when setting out and trying the more exotic foods Siem Reap has to offer. The pool is incredible after a hot day out exploring the temples. We enjoyed our stay here and will be recommending it. Thankyou for having us.
