First of all, the sign on the door outside of EconoLodge at the Falls following our nearly-devastating fire read:
"We are CLOSED due to FIRE. All reservations have been transfered to Holiday Inn across the street".
The reason we put this on the sign is because we DO realize your time is important, and we took the liberty of relocating all the reserved guests', at the same rate, to the Holiday Inn across the street.
Our hotel contacted all 3rd party websites about our fire, and did ask them to contact all of their customers. I'm sorry that you were not contacted by the representatives through Orbitz in time for your scheduled stay.
Again, we were all very sorry for inconveniences our guests had to endure because of the fire damage, but for safety reasons, we were unable to accommodate any guests. I personally am sorry you were so unsatisfied, but do you think it is fair to write a negative review on a hotel you never even stepped inside of?
