This is a beautiful resort with an outstanding staff. The shops and restaurants were excellent. our room was immaculate and beautiful with a lovely view. I would like to give it a higher score, but the pool was a big disappointment. I was very excited to check out the sand bottom pool and lazy river. Unfortunately, the sand in the pool was absolutely filthy. Cigarette butts, leaves, bugs, you name it. It was like swimming in a garbage pail. Also, we had a hard time easing into the lazy river because the water was freezing. I asked about the temperature and the lifeguard said it was between 84 and 86 degrees. Baloney. I have a heated pool at home and am very good at detecting temperature. This pool was nowhere near 80 degrees. Also, they advertise this hotel as having a skyliner for transport. The skyline is actually at Epcot and you either have to walk there or take a boat to get to it. It’s only about a 15 minute walk, but after a day in the parks, ANY extra walking will make your feet angry. Please clean up the pool!
Pros:
- Go right to your room- no front desk check in

Pros: - Go right to your room- no front desk check in -Amazing location. Can easily walk to Epcot. Did Lyft to HS and it was a very short ride. - Friendly staff -Hotel lobby common areas immaculate -Pool area gate check to ensure only paying guests were in pool area.
Cons: - No sit down casual options for breakfast and lunch if trying to find something last minute. - Pool Bar ( aka Hurricane Hanna’s) is open to the public, so we experienced waits in getting drinks -Pool waist service was slow + food was delivered in a paper tote. - Pool area could use hourly clean up and requiring guests to limit the amount of stuff being brought in. Several chairs (and chairs were at a premium )were taken up with guest’s bags and coolers.

This was our second time here and we love it. Have stayed at probably about half the Disney hotels and in every category, and this is our favorite. Being able to walk to two parks really gives it the edge. The entire walking area and over to the boardwalk is so nice. Not only the location to two parks, but its center for the other two. If you stay in one of the bay lake deluxe hotels, you’re a pretty good drive away from three parks.
It’s a very quiet resort. Even when you’re by the pool it’s not nearly as loud as the pools at the value resorts. It has such a laid back feeling. We love the contemporary also, but the yacht club just feels so much more laid back.
The ambiance of the lobby and common areas is calm and relaxed. The restaurants at both the yacht/beach are good. The little food court could have some better options, but that’s really the only downfall.
The rooms are spacious with enough space to store everything you bring. Nice big bathroom. Everything was clean and in working order. We asked for some extra coffee and body wash, and requested a bath mat, and all was taken care of quickly. Bell services brought our luggage to the room quickly after helping us unload the car. Beds and sofa/sofa bed were all comfortable.
The bus transportation works well, never really had any issues. Boats are nice and relaxing, although if in a hurry it’s much quicker to just walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Stormalong bay pool is amazing. A few hot tubs, a deep lazy river, nice slide, sandy bottom in areas. Even though it’s crowded you can find a spot with room to yourself. We actually enjoy the quiet pool. There are very few people there and it has its own hot tub. There is a laundry facility there so we do laundry while swimming or just sitting by the pool.
We paid a little more for water view this time and loved it. Made sure to be back at the room a little to sit out on the balcony. Requested a view of the boardwalk and we had a view straight ahead center.
If you’re comparing it cost wise to other non Disney hotels, it’s not worth it. Just know that going in. But if you compare it in cost to the Disney owned hotels we think it’s the best spot to be for its location, ambiance, and comfort

The location is fantastic and the service at the hotel is very good. The Yachtsman is not great but Ale & Compass is very good with great service. We selected the Yacht Club because of the pool which didn’t disappoint…we have two girls who had a blast.
While the location for Epcot and Hollywood Studios is excellent, if you plan on going to The Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom please note that the bus service from this ‘Deluxe’ hotel is absolutely terrible. The line for the Yacht and Beach Club is the longest of all hotels at all of these locations and most days/nights we had to wait >25 minutes to ride an overcrowded, extremely hot bus. Unfortunately, for this reason we will not return.

This was our first time staying in a deluxe resort at Disneyworld. We have stayed at the Art of Animation and Port Orleans several times previously. The Yacht Club's location is fantastic. You have a short walk to Epcot which is amazing or you can hop on a boat right out back of the resort that will take to Epcot. You can also easily walk to all of the restaurants at Beach Club & Boardwalk resorts. Ale & Compass had a great breakfast (pastry buffet/goodies) that you help yourself to while you wait for your ordered breakfast to arrive. The Ale & Compass Market had easy ordering and pick up. All basic menu items but tasty and quick. The rooms were nice but weren't luxurious. We didn't have any issues with service. Everyone was helpful & pleasant. The location is key here and we would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, we had a good experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and we felt comfortable and safe during our stay. However, I must admit that our room was showing its age and could use some updates and attention. Despite this, we were able to still enjoy our time at the hotel as a family. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would consider returning.

My family of 4 stayed here recently for 7 nights and had a great time. The resort is in such a great location being so close to Epcot and a short distance from Hollywood Studios. The walk to Epcot is only about 5-7 minutes depending on where your room is. Hollywood Studios is about a 20 minute walk but the boat pickup is right in front of hotel and we found it very convenient. We had zero issues with buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I get that February is typically a less busy time so our experience may have been different if it was a peak time but the buses were never overly full and they came frequently enough that we never waited long. The ride times to both those parks were about 15 minutes.
The other impressive thing about the hotel is the pool. I know it's been talked about a ton but I found it more impressive in person and my kids absolutely loved the sand bottom. It's a unique feature that was loved by all. I also want to bring attention to the staff here. Everyone was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel special. We had an issue with a broken souvenir we purchased at one of the parks and the front desk staff took the item and had a "runner" attend the park and exchange the item for a replacement souvenir. Maybe this type of service is common at Disney hotels but it was very helpful and I wanted to mention it.
Overall I can't really think of any issues we had here. Maybe the walls are a little thin but we didn't really have any issues with noise at night or being bothered by others. The room was clean and issue free. There were also enough plug ins for all our electronics (which I hadn't expected) so there wasn't a need to bring splitters. The place is quite expensive and there's definitely cheaper places but I would highly recommend this place if your budget allows.

Club Level is a Rip off! Stayed at this "resort" February 3rd - 9th 2024. The Yacht Club Concierge and club level staff was NOT good at all. Multiple times on different occasions during our 6 night stay, the Concierge ignored any requests that we had, and the Service staff in the Club Level Lounge was sometimes polite, but no one wanted to work. They spent all of their time in a back room chatting, and not working. One of the service hostesses was actually nasty. She served the beverages at the lounge each afternoon with an attitude. My wife on multiple occasions asked for a glass of wine from the staff in the evening, and they said sure, but never returned to the lounge, and she received no service. Also, they keep all of the alcoholic beverages in the back room where they chat. Hmm. You have to ask for service, and they usually ignore your request. For the money you pay for this club level, they should be bending over backwards for you. It is just the opposite.
Not all of the staff was bad, but none of them were what I would call above, and beyond. I will never pay for this service again! In fact, I have to rethink the whole Disney thing. The food was fair, the breakfast was probably the best offering, but like a typical hotel breakfast. I have had better at Best Western! Back to the Concierge, I asked for information on multiple occasions and on those occasions, they had no answers and said they would get back to me when they got the answers. NEVER HAPPENED!! Terrible. I really did not want to write a bad review on Trip Advisor. Disney forced my hand. I sent them numerous emails and calls, only to be blown off by Disney. No response on any of my communications. We have been back home over a week now, and no contact. Good luck to anyone who pays for this upgrade.

This is a truly lovely resort, situated perfectly for access to parks and a variety of evening venues for entertainment on the nearby boardwalk. But it is spread out and getting around is a hike even in the hotel proper. Pick your room carefully, and you might have the best view of the fireworks at Epcot. The quick service food options are limited, and the breakfast options are not at all healthy but there are other places not far away.
