If you're driving as far as Keystone then look into Breckenridge too. snow.com has got info on all Vail Resorts. Winter Park resort would be close too with more of a resort and vacation atmosphere that Loveland Basin which has nada. ... more

Winter Park is good skiing, and you can take the ski train up (no car rental!) and stay near the ski area. The town is more spread out but for a quick getaway, I think the ski train and WP are the way to go. Have Fun!! ... more
