We stayed in February/March for 10 days in C12, a third floor walk-up. The condo was plenty large for the two of us, clean and quiet. We had a full kitchen, dining area/living room with large screen TV, large bedroom with (queen or king?) bed, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a lanai. Plenty of louvered windows with screens. Also the front door had a screened, louvered section which was great for cross ventilation. The Hono Kai Resort has a “no noise after 10pm” policy, so we had quiet nights. Quiet, that is except for the wonderful sounds of the ocean surf crashing into the sea wall! We would definitely stay again.
The staff was very helpful. We had a little trouble locating some light switches and they provided guidance. For instance, the A/C and fan/light in the living room were on a timer (great idea for economy and forgetful people). We never needed the A/C, but when we wanted the light (for breakfast) or fan (when going to sleep), we turned the timer... more
