stayed for a week last may and had a great time...accomodation is excellent...very spacious and spotless. Own private area to sunbathe if you dont want to go to the poolside. I would def go back
This was our 4th holiday in Villa Branca & it certainly won't be our last. Superbly furnished with all the necessary requirements (and a lot more besides) for a really lovely holiday. There is a great swimming pool with private sun loungers for the days you wish to spend "at home" and the famous "Strip" is just a 30 minute walk from the complex. A taxi home will cost less than 5 euros if you decide to let your hair down in the many bars & restaurants located there. From the end of the Strip, a walk along the beach to Albufeira Old Town is a must. Traditional Portuguese restaurants, cafes and modern bars are all available. The guy who meets & greets you at the villa actually has a taxi business and will take you anywhere if you don't like, can't manage to walk. Very friendly residents and a small shop/cafe/bar is situated opposite the complex entrance. A delightful, well maintained villa.
