4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Large family accommodation that suited our party of adults and teenagers. The house was situated in a fairly isolated position which allowed us to really enjoy some outdoor pursuits. The house could do with a little updating but everything was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. more

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013 for a stay in February 2013

I rented Courthouse Dairy for five days in February for my family to attend a West Dorset wedding. The accomodation was exactly as advertised, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Easy for our wheelchair user too. Excellent heating system and the woodburning stove was extra luxury.
Outside there was masses of safe parking and plenty of space for the children to play. The games room was great fun.
We could all eat together round the big dining table. We ordered fish pies from the friendly village pub for the Friday night, and they were delivered ready for us to pop in the oven. We made good use of the shops just up the hill, the Post Office for our papers, Moores for fresh bread (the walnut bread is just so good) and the big farm shop for everything else.
We realised how much there is to see and do in the local area, and we would definitely come back to the same property and enjoy a couple of weeks in the summer.
