We wanted a quiet self-catering villa, with on-site bar and restaurant, a nearby quiet town, good views of the sea/landscape and good swimming facilities.
Las Rosas met these needs very well. The apartment was clean, well appointed, had a good view of the sea and Los Gigantes, and was merely steps from the pool, bar/restaurant and even our car. There was an onsite shop for essentials, and a larger supermarket a few hundred yards further. The only noises on site are the distant boats and the evening's singers (which seem to be aimed at quite a elderly audience). The other residents were very friendly. The resort seem to work well for the elderly and young families at the same time.
The staff were very good with helping with local guidance, ticket acquisition, bag storage etc. There's a life-guard on duty at all times that the pool is open (9-7). The pool is a very good size, and has a shallow kiddies pool with toys. The apartment was cleaned every 2...
