    This property is in great location, only 5 minutes walk from Griffin Park golf and bowles park. Park Avenue is just off the town centre with its shops, restaurants, esplanade and sea front so that you are always close to things to do. It is only a 5 minute drive in the car to Methyr Mawr and Ogmore by Sea, which are well worth a visit. A 20 minute drive will take you to Afan Argoed Country Park and famous bicycle track.

    At 7 Park Avenue you have use of the front room for watching TV and relaxing, there is a mature garden and patio, and there is also a self contained annexe.

We have just got back from a stay at this property. Unbelievable value for such a lovely apartment. Totally self contained, very nicely decorated and a real home from home. Jackie is a real sweetheart, very friendly and knowledgeable of local places of interest. To our surprise there was a host of goodies for us to arrive to so that we didn't have to go shopping straight away. The fact that towels and bedding were provided made a massive difference to our luggage which was a godsend as we had to travel by train. The house is ideally situated for the seafront and the town, being approximately 5 - 10 mins walk away.

The owners have thought of everything their guests may require, from hairdryer, hot brush and curling tongs to a juicer and a toastie maker. There is access to a very pretty little garden and whilst Jackie and her family live in the rest of the house, you can still enjoy absolute privacy with your own access keys etcetera.

From the minute we arrived the owners made us feel very welcome and were always available if we wanted anything. Although the owners live adjacent, they gave us plenty of space to come and go as we pleased with separate keys to our section of the property, in fact we became very friendly and chatted with them on a regular basis. The property itself is decorated brilliantly, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the things you need for your stay. In fact the amenities provided far exceeded our expectations. There are two double bedrooms, a family bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice cosy reception/lounge with a flat screen TV and DVD player. One of the bedrooms has a 4 seater dining table with an additional small fridge and TV. This bedroom has French windows which open onto a beautiful garden at the back where we enjoyed taking our teas/coffees. The property is situated on a quiet residential street and just a 5 minute walk to the supermarkets, shops and restaurants... more
