The living room contains two love seats and comfy chair surround a large stone hearth containing a wood stove with large glass window so you can see the fire burning and three large terrace doors facing the lake and lovely hardwood floors. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area containing a large wooden table with six chairs and two large windows facing the lake. Next to the dining area is a large fully equipped kitchen containing ample counter and cupboard space, a large fridge, stove, microwave over, and breakfast bar. All with a clear view of the dining room, living room and lake lake beyond. Three separate terrace doors lead out to a massive 10 by 40 foot deck with a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Huron. This deck is surrounded by deck glass which provides an unobstructed of the lake. The deck contains a nice patio set with glass table, large umbrella and six chairs. There is also three muskoka chairs, large gas barbeque with rotisserie burner and a four person hot tub. - (Hot Tub available for an additional 100 fee) Two large bedrooms each containing a queen size bed are located on the second floor. The master bedroom has terrace doors leading out to the outside deck and hot tub, as well as a 32" LCD flat screen television hanging on the wall to enjoy a film on a cool evening. To round thing out there is a four piece bathroom and decent stereo system with a great collection of over 100 music CD's and Ipod docking station. On the lower level, there is a large second living room with engineered hardwood flooring, pine trim and doors, a leather couch and love seat surrounding a gas fireplace and a 27 inch flat screen television with satellite receiver. Plus over 100 DVD's for your viewing pleasure. At the other end of the room is a desk containing computer connected to high speed DSL Internet. Use this computer or access wireless Internet from your laptop anywhere in the cottage. Of the two large bedrooms on the ground floor, one contains a queen size bed and the other has a set of bunk beds and a double futon bed, great for the kids. There is also a three piece bath (shower) and full laundry facilities provided. The cottage is located on a large private lot with over 400 feet in depth and 110 feet of frontage on the lake, it is well set back from the road and completely screened from other properties At the rear of the cottage is a flat area for the kids to play. The cottage is surrounded by 30-50 foot cedar forest. A trail leads from the cottage down to the shoreline. A large 16 by 16 foot deck in located at the waters edge containing five Muskoka chairs all with a fantastic view of the open waters of Lake Huron. At the water's edge the shoreline consists of some flat limestone rock with some rubble. The water get deep fairly quickly. A short two minute walk along the shoreline leads to a point of land that you can dive into 6 foot deep water. Swim shoes are recommended. The cottage comes with the use of two sit on top kayaks these are great stable vessels for exploring all the bays and inlets along the shoreline. (Mid May - Sept) The cottage is located on a paved road. Across the road forms part of the Bruce Peninsula National Park. It is a 12 km bike ride to Tobermory. The scenic Village of Tobermory is located 13 km away. Take a trip into town and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular. For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream come true. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment, or the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron are available a 10 minute drive away.
