    a two storey house in a rural zone a short distance from the main road to Orgiva, 2km distant. There are two bedrooms, each with an ensuite shower room, and, if necessary,a double sofa bed in the living room. The master bedroom is on the first floor, and opens onto a terrace with fine views to the south. The second bedroom is on the ground floor, and has two single beds. The kitchen and living room are also on the ground floor. There is a terrace and loggia attached to the house, and the terrace extends to the pool area. The house is set in 1,100 sq.m. of garden, with flowerbeds, lawn, swimming pool ( 7m by 5m), orchard with oragne and lemon trees. The area is rural and peaceful and the house is south facing with fine views of the surrounding countgryside and mountains.

My sister and I rented this place for a week in September, after which I wrote the following: This typical Alpujarran town house is situated ten minutes walk north of the town centre and has all ameneties, including an excellent air conditioning unit which is required during the normal `holiday' season, but which would be surplus for six months of the year. What it DOES NOT have is three bedrooms - or even two. It has one bedroom with a double bed on the first floor next to the toilet and bathroom, and a single bed in the dining area of the top floor lounge - this is a large room divided into two by the landing at the top of the spiral staircase; one side single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, sink, fridge, table & chairs and air conditioning unit; other side three seater bed-settee, TV set, TV table, double doors leading onto balcony. The bed-settee is presumably the third bed, but the bottom had fallen out of one side and it was thus unusable for anything as precarious as... more
