    There is furniture for lounging and dining and an electric BBQ on the large South facing terrace. There are two further small balconies, one off the main bedroom and one of f the lounge.
    En suite is a shower room.

    A washing machine, tumble dryer, and ski locker are available in the basement, as is a games room with table tennis and table football. (Bats etc in the flat.)

    Fly to Geneva from there it is an easy drive of about 1 .5 hours, 76miles, around the northern shores of Lake Geneva to the apartment, or a little over 2 hours by train.
    Scheduled airlines flying to Geneva include British Airways www.ba.com , and Swiss Air www.swiss.com.
    Easyjet also flies to Geneva from most airports in the UK. www.easyjet.com

    To catch the train from Geneva airport tto the apartment take the Brig train to Bex and then the connecting mountain railway to Gryon. (www.sbb.ch )

    It is possible to catch the Eurostar to Paris this connects with the TGV to Lausanne(3.5hrs). At Lausanne catch the connecting train for Brig getting off at Bex. The scenic rack and pinion railway will then take you up the mountain to Gryon station.(600m from the apartment) www.eu...

We had a lovely five days.
The weather was wonderful high up in the mountains clean air and wonderful views.
The village of Gryon is were my aurnt lives and i was very keen to spend some time with her with my family.

The village of Gryon is where my aunt lives and I was very keen to spend some time with her with my family.
The apartment was great. Originally a hotel it has converted well. It is extremely well appointed and very easy to use with great balconies, which were very safe even for the girls.
The old village bar “cafe des alp” is still there and the cooking is good.
I remember my first new years disco there when I was 11.
The local butcher, super market, cheese shop and bakery have every thing you need and the people are very friendly.
We went to the local tourist office at Barbalouse and got the booklet with the children’s free...
