We stayed at Fonte alla Lepre last week; the second week of their season, for one week. We were so impressed with the location that we extended our stay by one night. The complex is idyllic, set on a Tuscan hillside, perfectly maintained and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
It is built in a traditional Tuscan form and had the character of a property that had existed for a lot longer than its actual two years.
Our apartment was filled with high quality furniture and fittings; not always to be found in Italy and the bathroom lined with marble tiles. The apartment, No. 6, had a kitchen sufficient for our needs.
We had a terrace that overlooked the Tuscan hills and could have privacy sitting there in the evenings with a glass of wine.
The pool was open, a large three-tier pool, but a little bit fresh at this time of the year to use.
