Recently rented the studio at Casale Aia. On arrival was greeted by Gabriella a lovely lady. However she does not speak English. Luckily I speak a fair amount of Italian and we managed. She quickly checked us in and gave advice on how to get to supermarkets and restaurants.
The apartment was spacious and the location is truly beautiful, quiet and peaceful. the pool is very big with plentiful sunloungers. It is not heated so we did not use it. May be warmer later on in the year.
Most everything you need is there apart from a kettle. It has a TV but no English channels so ended up playing deal or no deal in Italian!!
Couple of problems...it is at the end of a very badly potholed unmade road which made you fear for the suspension of the hired car. The restaurants etc are a very long way away. In May it appeared to be out of season as most of them were shut. We had to drive 20 mile round trip to eat in the evenings. I have a back problem so the road and the very hard bed made...
