Six of us stayed here at Lo Schieto for the last week of August. It's a beautiful place and was v hard to leave. One week wasn't long enough.
It suited our group perfectly as we were two families - two adults and a child apiece. The boys shared the twin room which became their den across the living room and away from the kitchen area and other bedrooms. The house is beautifully restored and the space and light gorgeous. Bedrooms and bathrooms in particular were luxurious with good space, and v comfortable beds. All the windows had a netting screen you could pull down which meant we could have them open without being bitten - perfect given the heat and having the house breezy. The living room was huge and comfortable though we barely used it as most of the time we were outside on the terrace.
The only place in the house which seemed less than perfect was the kitchen - the room is lovely and large, and the table area was fine but the working... more
