The fully equipped kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, large fridge, two microwaves and oven. With patio doors leading from the kitchen to a small sunroom and private walled garden to soak up the holiday atmosphere.

    FIRST FLOOR: The first flight of stairs leads up to 1 double bedroom with a peaceful view of the garden. All the convenience of a shower room with basin and WC, 1 separate WC and 1 bathroom with bath and shower over and basin. A spacious large family bedroom with a double bed and single bed.

    Deposit of £250 to be paid within 48 hours of booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made by either cheque or bank/internet transfer (proof of payment to be supplied). Unfortunately we do not accept payment by card.

    Join the M5 motorway, at junction 31 continue onto the A38 (signposted Plymouth)
    Keep in left hand lanes, branch left, then merge onto the A380 (signposted Torquay)
    At Ashcombe Cross, branch left, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Colley Lane - B3192 (signposted Teignmouth) follow all signposts to Teignmouth.
    At traffic lights when you reach Teignmouth (Bitton Park Rd, A379), turn right to quay
    Turn left onto Quay Road, follow road down and turn right onto Northumberland Place
    You may unload at the house and then park at one of the many nearby carparks or find free onstreet parking depending on season.
    A £20 weekly parking permit is available from the Tourist Office giving access to all carparks in Teignmouth and surrounding towns.

Eight stayed in house,3 couples and two children. Perfectly adequate, great location between two beaches. Numerous pubs and restaurants within two minutes walk. Everything provided, towels, bedding etc. Ideal location to sightsee South Devon. more

As a family we take an annual British holiday during the same week each year. We always rent a holiday home that sleeps up to 9 people. Sadly this year’s holiday was let down by Miss Murphys. We’re used to paying peak prices for the holiday homes we rent as we travel in August, and the price we paid was...

We were disappointed to read this review as it is our first unfavourable one. Our visitor's book at the house is full of glowing reports. The garden is a walled established Victorian garden full of interesting planting, it is maintained but not manicured. Now that the busy summer season is over we can undertake further maintenance. It was a perfect house for our 2 families including 5 children under 7. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location was excellent for the front and back beach with lots of local pubs. Parking was only a few minutes walk away with cheap daily rates. We will definitely stay here again. more
