    Located in Izamal an ancient Mayan city which has 7 pyramids in town and the best example
    of colonial architecture in Yucatan.
    5 min walk to town square,market, grocery stores , pharmacies and restaurants.
    50 minutes to Merida and 3 hours to Cancun on excellent roads.
    Izamal is in the process of becoming a Unesco World Heritage Site.
    Suggest you Google "IZAMAL" for lots of amazing history.
    Also 1 hour from Gulf of Mexico and wonderful inexpensive seafood restaurants and great bird watching , (flamingos etc.)
    Light and sound show at the atrium of the church every night, Mexican folk art Museum , horse drawn carriage tours of 8 artisan work shops,
    including wood carver, herbalist , tin folk art, hammock making, jewelery work shop , embroidery etc.
    Nice cafes and restaurants on the main plaza.
    Visit 465 year old Merida for big city culture on a mini bus for under $ 5 US return.
