My husband, friends and I have just come back from a wonderful stay at the Bushmans Hideout. We loved it and would recommend it.
The villa is big - much bigger than the photos show. Its rustic and fits in perfectly with the Zanzibar surroundings. The bedrooms are great - each with big comfortable beds and really good mozi nets. The bathrooms have sunken baths and showers. The cold tap comes out luke warm, but at a strangely perfect temperature for the heat outside.
The living area consists of a kitchen which functions well with toaster, hob, kettle etc. There are also lots of ants as the owner warns, so anything left out, even in packets is fair game. The living area also has a TV which we didn't use at all and big sofas. We choose to spend our time sitting on the huge veranda either on the hammocks or at the large table, where you will see squirrels and small antelope all the time.
The pool is a minutes walk through the garden and there is an honesty bar...
